Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit is a five-piece clothing set earned during the new Clampdown quest in Update 2.5. You’ll find every piece together in a duffle bag beneath a bench in the prison bathroom, after V escapes from the cell. The package also contains King’s Iconic Tech Revolver, Coronation. None of these items needs to be bought from a clothing vendor.
The outfit covers the usual clothing slots, but the boots have a completely different item name, which is easy to miss when assembling King’s look. You can collect everything on the same prison visit. Here’s the route to the bag and the full item list.
How to get the Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit
To unlock the Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit, install the Edgerunners 2 Update and progress through The Heist. Complete two gigs for Wakako Okada, then wait for the message titled A request from King. This opens Clampdown. The quest is part of Cyberpunk 2077, not a separate purchase tied to the anime.
Travel to the BuryGer diner near the MLK & Brandon fast travel point in Santo Domingo. Sit at the marked table and speak to King when he calls, accepting the prison rescue job. Then enter Night City Prison through its visitor entrance across from the meeting area. You can find the complete quest trigger in our Cyberpunk 2077 Clampdown guide.

Where are King’s five clothing pieces inside the prison?
The Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit is collected during the prison escape rather than at the end of the quest. Follow the guard through prison security. When V is placed in a cell as part of the story, take control of the cameras above you, switch to camera 117 and deactivate the security panel. That lets you leave the cell.
Follow the next objective, recover the smuggled package, into the prison bathroom. Look beneath the bench for the duffle bag and interact with it. The bag contains all five pieces. Once you’ve collected them, continue the rescue mission normally. Once you’ve collected the bag, all five items are yours. Carry on with the prison escape to finish the mission.
All five Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit pieces
These are the five pieces of the Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit found with Coronation during Clampdown. You’ll see the names on their item cards after collecting the bag:
| Clothing item | Wardrobe slot | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| King’s Coat | Outer torso | Prison bathroom package |
| King’s Bulletproof Vest | Inner torso | Same package |
| King’s Glasses | Face | Same package |
| King’s Pants | Legs | Same package |
| Icon America Dust Devil Utility Boots | Feet | Same package |
The boots don’t have King’s name in their item title. Look for Icon America Dust Devil Utility Boots when checking your wardrobe. Coronation is a sixth reward, not another clothing piece.

How to wear the Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit
Once you’ve collected the Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit, open the inventory. Equip the coat in Outer Torso, the vest in Inner Torso, the glasses in Face, the pants in Legs and the boots in Feet. You can also assemble the look through an apartment wardrobe as a cosmetic outfit while keeping your preferred equipment.
King’s signature styling is different from the Maxiwear, NetWatch and IconAmerica vendor collections in the Update 2.5 clothes guide. If you’re looking for hairstyle options to go with the outfit, Update 2.5 also adds previously NPC-only styles; those are changed through appearance customisation rather than unlocked by Clampdown.
Does the Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit include Coronation?
Yes. The Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit bag also supplies Coronation, King’s Iconic Tech Revolver. You don’t have to complete a separate gun hunt or buy the weapon. This is a Tech revolver, while the newly added Double Trouble perk supports Power pistols and revolvers, so the two features don’t combine in the way some players might expect.
For the updated weapon restrictions, see our Double Trouble guide. The Update 2.5 overview covers the other new side quests, Photo Mode options and radio additions.
What if King’s outfit isn’t in your inventory?
If the Cyberpunk 2077 King Outfit doesn’t appear, check that you’ve reached the correct objective after escaping the cell. King’s gear comes from the prison bathroom duffle bag rather than an automatic reward for meeting King. After interacting with the package, check all clothing categories, including the boots under their Icon America name.
Black screen when opening the bag? Players on PC and PS5 report getting stuck at this pickup. Some got past it by loading a save made before entering the prison, although this isn’t a confirmed universal fix. If you haven’t begun Clampdown yet, make a manual save first. See the player reports.
If Clampdown itself doesn’t appear, check that you’ve completed two Wakako gigs, not simply raised Street Cred or finished gigs for other fixers. Wait for Wakako’s message once The Heist is complete. Some platforms received the patch after the original October 22 PC, PS5 and Xbox release, so confirm Update 2.5 is actually installed.
The Welcome to Paradise quest has different requirements and won’t unlock the clothes. For screenshots wearing the full set, see our Photo Mode guide.
