CRYMELIGHT release date is 4 November 2026 on Steam. FURYU’s single-player roguelike follows Alice through a sinister Wonderland where skill cards, quick combat and lasting equipment upgrades decide how far each attempt takes her. A free Steam demo is already available, covering the opening story through the end of Chapter 1.
The PC version supports English text and subtitles, with Japanese voice acting, Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud. You can play Chapter 1 for free before deciding whether to buy.
CRYMELIGHT release date on Steam and consoles
Steam lists the CRYMELIGHT release date as Wednesday 4 November 2026. FURYU’s Japanese website gives 5 November (JST). For the PC edition, follow the date on Steam rather than using the Japanese date as a UK launch time.
The game is also coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Those are separate purchases, not copies included with Steam. Our Switch 2 release guide covers Nintendo’s listing. Steam confirms the CRYMELIGHT release date but doesn’t give a precise UK unlock hour.
How to download the CRYMELIGHT Steam demo
Open the CRYMELIGHT page in Steam, find Download CRYMELIGHT Demo and select Download. Install it and launch it from your library. This is the expanded Full Demo from 17 September, which replaced the earlier combat-focused Battle Demo. It’s free to play without buying Standard or Deluxe.
The Full Demo follows Alice’s arrival in Wonderland through the end of Chapter 1. You meet her companions and try combat and upgrades at the Tea Party Hall. FURYU estimates 1.5 to 3 hours or longer, depending on your pace.

The publisher says the demo is available for a limited period before the full game’s release. With the CRYMELIGHT release date approaching, download it ahead of launch if you want a free trial. The demo and paid game have separate Steam entries; installing one doesn’t purchase the other.
What CRYMELIGHT gameplay is like
CRYMELIGHT is a roguelike action game. Alice fights enemies, collects skill cards and builds five-card poker hands for stronger effects. Different combinations change the attacks available in a run. The Wonder Dimension spreads when enemies are defeated, speeding up the action and strengthening abilities as it expands.
Losing a run costs the cards you’ve collected, but some progress carries over. Repentance turns sins taken from defeated enemies into materials for upgrading weapons and accessories. Between runs, the Tea Party Hall conversations reveal more about Alice, Mary and the others.
The Full Demo also includes changes made after the Battle Demo: clearer tutorials, adjustable difficulty, revised dodging, improved interface readability and more mouse-and-keyboard options. It’s the better place to start if you tried the first demo.
CRYMELIGHT release date: English and PC features
The PC store lists English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean for menus and subtitles. Spoken dialogue is in Japanese; English audio isn’t listed. That means you can play through the story with English text while hearing its Japanese cast.
Steam lists single-player, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. You can use a controller or keyboard and change between side-view and overhead camera angles. There is no online co-op mode listed.
CRYMELIGHT PC requirements and storage
Steam’s minimum PC specification is Windows 10 64-bit, a Core i7-6700 or Ryzen 5 1600, 16GB RAM, RTX 2060 6GB or Radeon RX 5600, and 10GB of free storage. Recommended graphics are an RTX 3060 6GB or Radeon RX 6600 XT, with a Core i5-12500 or Ryzen 5 5500 and DirectX 12.
The 10GB figure is the PC game’s storage requirement, not a confirmed demo download size. Controller support doesn’t guarantee Steam Deck verification; check Steam’s compatibility label for that.
Standard or CRYMELIGHT Digital Deluxe Edition?
Standard is the main game. The Steam Digital Deluxe bundle adds six DLC items, an 80-page digital artbook, a 30-track Complete Soundtrack and three voice-drama tracks. Those are additional equipment and digital extras, not a second story campaign. Our CRYMELIGHT Digital Deluxe Edition breakdown names every item and compares the two PC editions.
Ahead of the CRYMELIGHT release date, the demo is the best way to try the combat. Standard includes Alice’s full adventure; Deluxe adds equipment, art and audio. Our Switch 2 Deluxe guide covers different platform-specific extras and preorder bonuses.
