Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps now includes three publicly revealed locations after SEGA’s Tokyo Game Show Japan trailer joined the West Coast and Germany maps shown earlier in 2026. The game is built around a globe-trotting campaign across five cities, so the map list is not complete yet, but players can already see how different terrain and city layouts are being used to change the driving style.
The important thing with Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps is separating the places SEGA has actually shown from the two cities that are still unannounced. West Coast is the familiar American starting point, Germany brings castles, villages and Autobahn-style roads, and the September 17 trailer adds Japan as the newest confirmed stop on Axel’s world tour.
Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps: all confirmed locations so far

There are currently three revealed Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps: West Coast, Germany and Japan. SEGA has said the full World Tour campaign spans five cities, which means two locations remain unannounced. Those two should not be filled in from rumours or trailer speculation until SEGA names them.
| Map | What is confirmed |
|---|---|
| West Coast | A San Francisco-inspired location that carries the classic Crazy Taxi flavour into the new game. |
| Germany | A European map featuring landmarks, castles, villages and fast roads, including an Autobahn-style route. |
| Japan | The newest September 17 reveal, shown through a dedicated Japan Map trailer at Tokyo Game Show 2026. |
| City 4 | Not announced yet. |
| City 5 | Not announced yet. |
West Coast brings back the classic Crazy Taxi feel
The first of the revealed Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps is West Coast. It is designed around the hills, waterfront roads and dense city driving associated with the series’ American roots. SEGA used West Coast heavily in early promotion and network-test material, making it the easiest location to recognise before launch.
The map also shows how World Tour is modernising the old formula without turning the game into a conventional circuit racer. Players still need to pick routes quickly, carry passengers and use the city itself as the challenge, but the new game adds missions, side activities and online modes around that driving.
Germany changes the terrain and road style
Germany is the second major reveal among Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps. SEGA’s August map announcement highlighted cathedrals, old castles, villages and Autobahn-style high-speed roads. It is a deliberate contrast with the West Coast map rather than another city using the same street rhythm.
SEGA also showed real-world German brands appearing as collaboration locations and destinations. That gives the map a travel-guide flavour while still keeping the core objective focused on driving quickly through recognisable terrain.
Japan is the newest Crazy Taxi World Tour map
Japan joined Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps on September 17 when SEGA released a new Japan Map trailer during Tokyo Game Show 2026. The new footage presents Japan as another distinct stop in the global campaign rather than a cosmetic reskin of West Coast or Germany.
The reveal is particularly useful because World Tour has always been sold as a game about taking Crazy Taxi around the globe. With Japan now shown alongside America and Germany, that promise has three very different settings behind it instead of only the original-style city and one European alternative.
How many maps are in Crazy Taxi World Tour?
SEGA has said Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps will ultimately cover five unique cities in the World Tour campaign. Three have now been revealed publicly, leaving two still to come. Those remaining cities may be announced through later trailers, events or pre-launch showcases.
The five-city number refers to the campaign’s main world-tour locations. Separate online modes, mission variants or reused sections of a city should not automatically be counted as entirely new maps unless SEGA presents them that way.
Do all maps support the same modes?
Not every detail about Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps and mode support is final yet. The closed network test offered two maps for multiplayer and included Pickup Race plus Cops ‘n’ Cabbies, while the full game also has a story-driven World Tour campaign and Arcade Mode. SEGA has not published a final map-by-mode matrix for all five cities.
That means it is safe to say the game uses multiple cities across campaign and online content, but not safe to promise that every location appears in every mode at launch. That is one of the details to update once SEGA publishes the final mode list.
When does Crazy Taxi World Tour release?
Crazy Taxi World Tour Maps will be playable in the full game when Crazy Taxi: World Tour launches in 2027. SEGA has confirmed Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PS5, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2, but has not announced a specific release date yet.
