Command An Army Ranked Ranks are now live as part of Update 2, giving the Roblox strategy game its first persistent competitive ladder. There are nine ranks in total, beginning with Warrior and ending at Emperor, with Knight, Noble, Commander, General, Warlord, Conqueror and Overlord between them.
The Ranked system arrived alongside Guilds, Rapier, Rapier Knight and the new Parry trait on September 19. For players who already understand normal Attack and Defend matches, the important new goal is climbing the Command An Army Ranked Ranks instead of treating every match as isolated progression.
All Command An Army Ranked Ranks in order

| Order | Rank |
|---|---|
| 1 | Warrior |
| 2 | Knight |
| 3 | Noble |
| 4 | Commander |
| 5 | General |
| 6 | Warlord |
| 7 | Conqueror |
| 8 | Overlord |
| 9 | Emperor |
The nine Command An Army Ranked Ranks form one clear ladder. Warrior sits at the starting end of the hierarchy, while Emperor is the highest named tier currently documented in the live Update 2 system.
How does Ranked work in Command An Army?
Ranked is a competitive mode added in Update 2. It takes the game’s existing army-building and objective combat into a ladder where your results matter beyond one match. The same fundamentals still apply: build a legal troop loadout under your Star Limit, control your own commander and use troop orders to attack or defend objectives.
What changes is the persistent progression represented by the Command An Army Ranked Ranks. Instead of only collecting match rewards and Mastery experience, Ranked gives competitive players a visible hierarchy to climb from Warrior toward Emperor.
The public Update 2 information confirms the nine-rank ladder, but the developers have not published a complete public table of every promotion threshold, point requirement or demotion boundary. Use the values displayed by the live Ranked interface for your current promotion progress rather than copying RP numbers from another game.
What is the highest rank in Command An Army?

Emperor is the highest of the nine Command An Army Ranked Ranks. It sits above Overlord, Conqueror and Warlord at the top end of the current ladder.
The developer also used Emperor rank for a launch-day competitive promotion in the official community, which makes the top tier more than a decorative name. Exact future prizes can change, so the permanent fact to plan around is the rank order itself.
What rank comes after Warrior?
Knight comes directly after Warrior. From there the Command An Army Ranked Ranks progress through Noble, Commander, General, Warlord, Conqueror, Overlord and finally Emperor.
Knight is also the name of an existing troop. A Ranked Knight tier is your competitive position, while the Knight unit is part of the Mercenary evolution line. One does not automatically unlock the other.
Does troop rarity decide your Ranked rank?
No. Rarity stars and Ranked rank are separate systems. Stars determine troop rarity and contribute to the Star Limit used by your equipped army, while the Command An Army Ranked Ranks represent competitive progression.
Mastery is separate again. Individual troops gain Mastery through use and can reach the level 20 evolution gate. Ascension uses duplicate units. Update 2 adds another progression layer without replacing any of those older systems.
How should you prepare for Ranked?
The strongest preparation is a loadout you already know how to control. Ranked arrived after Update 1 expanded the anti-shield roster and Update 2 increased Spearman and Pikeman squad sizes from 24 to 28, so simply equipping the rarest units is not enough.
Use Follow to regroup between objectives, Hold to protect useful positions and ranged troops, and commit Attack or Rush when your formation is ready. Ranked makes consistency more valuable because climbing the Command An Army Ranked Ranks depends on repeatable match performance rather than one spectacular push.
Did Ranked arrive with Guilds?
Yes. Both systems launched in Update 2 on September 19. The same update also added Rapier and Rapier Knight with the new Parry trait, changed Spearman and Pikeman squad sizes, and adjusted Gem and troop Mastery earnings.
Our Command An Army Update 2 guide has the complete change list, while the Update 2 units guide tracks Rapier, Rapier Knight and Parry separately.
