BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes are centered on the September 16 launch of Midnight Hunters, with KRAFTON turning parts of Erangel into vampire-controlled areas while adding hunter locations, PvE creatures, themed gear and a longer content roadmap that stretches into November.
This is not a normal “new gun and bug fixes” patch. The most important 4.6 changes are mode systems and event timing, so the useful patch-note view is to separate what arrives with the client from what unlocks later in September and October.
BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes: Midnight Hunters at launch

BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes list Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka as Vampire Takeover locations. Hunter activity is centered around Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base, while Bloodwalkers, Nightbats and a Vampire Elder add supernatural PvE enemies to the match.
The mode includes themed tools such as the Silvermoon Chain and Twilight Bat Wings, plus hunter-focused support gear. Bloodline Awakening is part of the central vampire-versus-hunter structure rather than a purely cosmetic night filter.
BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes: content scheduled after September 16
BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes also point to Ocean Odyssey returning on September 30 and staying through November 16. The returning underwater theme is a separate playable option, so it does not replace Midnight Hunters halfway through the season.
Kiaraa then arrives October 8 with her own Bazaar location, boss battle and Nakshatra collection. A separate India-specific Diwali Prize Path begins October 22, runs through November 15 and contains 20 progression stages.
BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes: collaborations and cosmetics
BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes sit alongside One-Punch Man and Lincoln Motor Cruise content. KRAFTON has named Saitama, Genos, Terrible Tornado, Hellish Blizzard and Garou in connection with the anime collaboration, while Lincoln is supplying a luxury-vehicle cosmetic angle for the 4.6 cycle.
Kiaraa’s confirmed cosmetic set includes the Kiaraa Nakshatra Set, Divine Radiance SCAR-L, Divine Peacock Glider, Divine Chariot Buggy, Divine Edge Machete and Arrow Rain Emote. These are cosmetics, not evidence of a brand-new base firearm being added to the normal loot pool.
BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes are substantial enough without filling gaps with rumors. KRAFTON has not provided a trustworthy official download-size figure or a confirmed list of brand-new standard weapons, so those topics are being held back until there is something real to publish. For the full overview use our BGMI 4.6 Update guide or check the official BGMI website for live notes.
BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes also show what is not worth inventing yet. The patch has confirmed special themed gear and cosmetic weapon skins, but that is not the same thing as confirming a brand-new standard firearm for the normal loot pool. Likewise, KRAFTON has not published a dependable official total download-size figure for every device.
Those omissions are useful because they keep the patch-note coverage clean. Version 4.6 already has plenty of confirmed material in Midnight Hunters, Ocean Odyssey, Kiaraa and the collaboration roadmap, so there is no need to pad the notes with leaked storage figures or label a themed event item as a new permanent weapon.
BGMI 4.6 Patch Notes also make clear that the biggest 4.6 changes are seasonal systems rather than a huge permanent weapon rebalance. Midnight Hunters adds its own tools and enemies, Ocean Odyssey returns as themed content, and Kiaraa arrives later with event and cosmetic systems. Those are the changes players are most likely to notice immediately.
A proper patch-note article should therefore distinguish permanent client changes from limited-time event content. The two can ship in the same version, but they have different lifespans and different search intent. Midnight Hunters and Ocean Odyssey both have end dates, while the client itself remains version 4.6 until KRAFTON moves to the next major update.
