Battlefield 6 Dead Space Convergence Event launched on October 20, 2026 and runs through November 10. The limited-time crossover adds Marker Incursion, a 16-player PvE experience set around the alien Marker beneath Area 51. Players fight Marked Soldiers, destroy Marker Shrines, earn Semiconductors and use the DS-23 Pulse Rifle Battle Pickup in the fight at Area 51.
The crossover’s main rewards are earned through a ten-item collection. Spend event currency on the regular items and finish the set to unlock the Aegis VII Soldier skin. The RIG-Certified SMG package belongs to that collection; the separate Dead Space store bundles are paid extras, not part of the unlock requirement.
Battlefield 6 Dead Space Convergence Event: October 20 release and end date

EA launched Dead Space: Convergence on October 20, after the start of Season 5: Siege of Vegas. It runs until November 10. That gives players a limited window to try the new mission and collect the event cosmetics before Season 5 moves into its next phase.
November 10 is the confirmed end date. For the final hours, use the countdown displayed in the game’s event menu rather than assuming the playlist closes at midnight in the UK. The published EA schedule gives a date, not a separate UK cutoff time.
What is Marker Incursion in the Battlefield 6 Dead Space Convergence Event?
Marker Incursion is a cooperative PvE mission for up to 16 players, rather than a fight against another human team. Its enemies are Marked Soldiers, former Pax Armata troops driven into violent confusion by the alien Marker uncovered beneath Area 51.
The squad’s job is to push through corrupted territory, fight the Marked Soldiers and destroy the smaller Marker Shrines. Each shrine strengthens the signal and draws in more enemies. Breaking them weakens the Marker’s influence as the team makes its way towards the source.
Pulse Rifle Battle Pickup in Marker Incursion
The DS-23 Pulse Rifle appears as a Battle Pickup during Marker Incursion. It brings Dead Space’s distinctive fast-firing weapon into Battlefield for the event. EA also makes it available as a pickup in Battle Royale and Rapid Royale while Convergence is active.
This is a weapon you find during a match, not a permanent unlock for a standard loadout. Our DS-23 Pulse Rifle guide covers its role in the mission and the two REDSEC playlists.
Battlefield 6 Dead Space Convergence Event rewards: Aegis VII and RIG-Certified

EA highlights the Aegis VII Soldier skin, RIG-Certified SMG weapon package, stickers, soldier patches and player-card cosmetics. The earned collection sits alongside two optional Dead Space-themed store bundles. They’re not all the same type of reward, so don’t spend Battlefield Coins thinking that’s how you finish the event collection.
| Content | How it is obtained |
|---|---|
| Aegis VII Soldier skin | Complete the ten-item event collection |
| RIG-Certified SMG package | Earn and spend event currency |
| Stickers, patches, profile items and boosters | Earn and spend event currency |
| Strategic Dismemberment and Make Us Whole bundles | Optional paid store items, separate from the earned collection |
You earn Semiconductors through Convergence challenges, defeating Marked Soldiers in Marker Incursion and finding them in Battle Royale or Rapid Royale. The event collection uses the earned currency for its item unlocks. Check the live reward screen for your current balance and the individual prices.
Battlefield 6 Dead Space Convergence Event: How to play Marker Incursion
- Install the current Battlefield 6 or REDSEC Season 5 update.
- Open the limited-time event or mode selection when Marker Incursion appears.
- Join the 16-player PvE experience and fight the AI-controlled Marked Soldiers.
- Look for the Pulse Rifle Battle Pickup during the mission.
- Destroy Marker Shrines with your teammates and push towards stopping Convergence.
- Check the event progression and rewards screen for the exact unlock requirements.
Open the limited-time Marker Incursion playlist once the current update is installed. Join the other players, follow the active mission objectives and clear the Marked Soldiers around the shrines. The mission leads towards the main Marker, which must be destroyed to stop Convergence. For a focused walkthrough, use our Marker Incursion guide.
How to get Aegis VII in the Battlefield 6 Dead Space Convergence Event
The Aegis VII appearance is the reward for completing the ten-item event collection. Buying the RIG-Certified package alone is not enough, and buying either optional Dead Space store bundle does not replace the collection requirement.
Check which regular rewards are still unclaimed, then spend Semiconductors on the missing items. The full rewards guide lists all ten, while our Semiconductors guide explains how to earn more currency. You can make progress outside Marker Incursion by playing the supported REDSEC modes.
When the Battlefield 6 Dead Space Convergence Event ends
The crossover ends on November 10. Marker Incursion is a limited-time event playlist, so make time for it before the window closes. The special DS-23 appears in other modes during Convergence, but that does not turn it into a permanent loadout weapon.
Season 5 continues when the event finishes. The European Casino map is scheduled for November 10, while Server Browser and Platoons follow in the December 8 roadmap phase. Those are separate additions from the Dead Space crossover.
