Battlefield 6 anti-cheat September 2026 figures show that EA Javelin blocked 439,945 attempts to cheat or tamper with the game. EA published the figures on 30 October, alongside a 3.41% Match Infection Rate for the end of September.

That doesn’t mean almost 440,000 players were banned. Blocked attempts and matches affected by suspected cheating are separate measures, and each answers a different question about how well Javelin is working.

What does a 3.41% Match Infection Rate mean?

EA’s Match Infection Rate, or MIR, measures the percentage of matches negatively affected by at least one suspected cheater. Player reports form part of the calculation, even when EA doesn’t have enough evidence to take action against the reported account.

So 3.41% does not mean 3.41% of Battlefield 6 players are cheating. One suspected cheater can affect an entire match, and MIR counts affected matches rather than unique players.

In the Battlefield 6 anti-cheat September 2026 results, MIR peaked at 3.64% on 2 September and dipped to 3.27% on 10 September. It finished at 3.41%, below the month’s opening 3.51%. EA describes September’s trend as relatively stable, rather than a dramatic improvement or deterioration.

Were 439,945 Battlefield 6 players banned?

No. EA says Javelin stopped 439,945 cheating or tampering attempts before they could affect matches. It doesn’t say that 439,945 accounts were banned.

The Battlefield 6 anti-cheat September 2026 report doesn’t break the total down by player. One account or cheat tool could be blocked more than once, so calling this 439,945 bans would be wrong.

Why does EA report a 96.39% disruption rate?

EA tracks 111 active cheat-related programmes, hardware solutions, vendors, resellers and associated communities. Of those, 107 reported problems such as broken cheat features, detection notices, downtime or shutting their cheats down completely. That is 96.39% of the operations on EA’s tracked list.

The 96.39% figure is not Javelin’s detection rate against all cheaters. It covers the specific operations EA tracks, and includes several different outcomes. A detection warning is not the same as a permanent shutdown.

How does September compare with August?

EA’s August report recorded 327,756 blocked attempts and ended with a 3.24% MIR. September’s 439,945 blocked attempts were higher, while its 3.41% month-end MIR was slightly above August’s previously reported closing level.

There’s another wrinkle with older MIR charts. Earlier in Season 4, EA changed the calculation to filter out legitimate players who attract repeated reports because they’re highly skilled, particularly vehicle specialists. Figures from before that change aren’t directly comparable with those using the updated method.

The Battlefield 6 anti-cheat September 2026 report also says August’s MIR had subsequently stabilised at 3.51% at September’s start. That is the opening figure used in EA’s new chart.

What changes are coming to EA Javelin?

EA says it added new ways to detect cheats during Season 4, responding to tactics used by cheating communities. It also plans bigger improvements in future updates, but hasn’t attached a release date or a list of features to that announcement.

The Battlefield 6 anti-cheat September 2026 results tell us how many attempts Javelin blocked and how often EA believes suspected cheating still affected matches. The Match Infection Rate will be the figure worth watching as EA rolls out its next improvements.
