ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access begins on Tuesday, 3 November 2026 at 11 PM GMT in the UK. The open-world action MMORPG is launching on PC through Steam first, with pre-purchases already open and a Dawn Pioneer costume included for those who buy before release.

The UK Steam package is listed at £26.99, while XLGAMES has confirmed a US price of $29.99. It’s a paid game, not a free-to-play MMO. Here’s the launch schedule, what comes with the purchase, the PC requirements and what PlayStation or Xbox players need to know.

What time does ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access release in the UK?

ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access unlocks at 11 PM GMT on Tuesday, 3 November. That’s the same moment as the announced 3 PM PST launch in the US. The UK will be on GMT by then, so the date and time won’t change because of the clocks.

XLGAMES announced the time on 27 October. If you’ve pre-purchased through Steam, that’s when access is due to open. As with any online launch, you will still need the servers to be running before you can get into the game.

How much does ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access cost in the UK?

The Steam package is priced at £26.99 in the UK, according to its regional pricing data on 28 October. XLGAMES announced a $29.99 US price. The difference isn’t a conversion error; Steam uses regional prices, so the amount you pay depends on your store country.

It’s a one-time purchase for the Early Access game. The studio has described the game as buy-to-play rather than a subscription MMO. XLGAMES also says that the price might change when the full version arrives, and that it will announce any change beforehand. If you’re purchasing in another region, check the price Steam shows for your account rather than converting the US figure yourself.

Which platforms have ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access?

ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access launches on PC through Steam. The game has also been announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but neither console version has a confirmed release date. The 3 November launch applies to Steam, not PlayStation or Xbox.

The developer expects the Early Access period to last around nine to twelve months, with regular updates along the way. That is a development estimate, not an announced date for the complete game or the console versions.

What content is available when ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access starts?

The starting version includes three regions: Diamond Shores, Gylden Ruins and Astron Plains. You’ll be able to play as Warrior, Ranger, Mage or Berserker. Each class starts with two weapons, making eight weapons altogether. XLGAMES plans a third weapon for each class in later updates.

There’s more to do than follow the main story. ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access includes exploration, dungeons, raids, PvP, housing, crafting, trading and company and guild activities. The October demo centred on a shorter route through Diamond Shores, but the paid release adds the broader social and life-skill systems.

The studio has also talked about opening more regions, expanding some class gender choices and improving combat balance during development. Those are plans for future updates, not features you should expect every class to have on day one.

ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access pre-order rewards explained

Pre-purchasing on Steam includes the Dawn Pioneer Set, a costume bonus for one class of your choice. You receive one outfit, not a copy for every character. Steam calls the item you receive the Dawn Pioneer Outfit Chest, and its reward notes also use the name Dawnbreaker Vanguard Outfit for the costume inside.

Once Early Access opens, create the character you want to keep the costume on. Open the main menu, hold Claim Reward in the top-right corner (or hold N), then use the Dawn Pioneer Outfit Chest in Inventory. Steam says the character used to claim the bonus is the one that receives it. It can’t be transferred, so choose your character before pressing Claim Reward.

Does the October demo transfer into Early Access?

No. The free Steam Next Fest test ran from 19 to 26 October, and XLGAMES said that its characters, quests and progress would not carry over. You’ll begin a new character when ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access launches. If you’re checking Steam and can’t find the old demo download, it’s because that test has ended.

ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access PC requirements

Steam lists 100 GB of free storage on an SSD as a requirement. For minimum settings, XLGAMES specifies Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-10400 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, and an RTX 2060 Super or Radeon RX 6600. That’s aimed at 1080p, low settings and a 30 FPS target with upscaling.

For recommended settings, the listing moves to Windows 11, a Core i7-12700 or Ryzen 7 5700X, 32 GB RAM and an RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB or Radeon RX 7700 XT. The target is 1080p at high settings and 60 FPS with upscaling set to Quality. If you’re making space on your drive now, remember that an SSD is mandatory.

If you’re playing on PC, 3 November at 11 PM GMT is the date to plan around. Console players will need to wait for a separate announcement, and the developer hasn’t promised that the full release will arrive on any particular date.
