Fortnite Treasure Hunters: One Piece, New Island and November 1 Start

Fortnite Treasure Hunters

Fortnite Treasure Hunters is live as of Sunday, November 1, 2026. Its first Captain’s Day began at 2 PM GMT (9 AM ET). Epic Games has revealed a new 80-player island, One Piece abilities, a Battle Pass starring Ace and Nico Robin, and several weeks of pirate-themed events. The October 30 announcement also confirms when players can get Luffy, Zoro, Nami and other characters.

This is more than a One Piece crossover. A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto are also joining the pirate theme, with fresh Captain’s Days spread across November. Here’s what you can play now and what’s still scheduled for later this month.

Fortnite Treasure Hunters release date and UK start time

Fortnite Treasure Hunters launched on November 1 at 2 PM GMT (9 AM ET) for the first Captain’s Day. Epic specifically gives this time for the first Captain’s Day, which begins with the new season. The previous Override Battle Pass ended with the season changeover, so its old reward deadlines no longer apply. Our season-end guide covers those rewards.

The launch coincides with the first Captain’s Day. Once the update is installed, head into Battle Royale to explore Crossbones Isle, then check the new Battle Pass and Item Shop for the opening wave of rewards.

New Fortnite Treasure Hunters map: Crossbones Isle

Crossbones Isle is the new 80-player Battle Royale island. It includes Arlong Park and Windmill Village from One Piece, plus cannons that players can climb into for a quick trip across the island.

Another major landing spot is the $.$. Rocky, A$AP Rocky’s battleship point of interest. It comes with his Shock Rocket, a weapon that rains rockets from above. For the island layout and named locations, see our Crossbones Isle map guide.

One Piece powers and pirate weapons

Fortnite Treasure Hunters introduces Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit and Zoro’s Three Sword Style to Battle Royale. The first brings Luffy’s stretching abilities into combat; the second lets players attack with Zoro’s signature sword fighting. The Shock Rocket adds a different way to fight around the battleship.

There is more to come after launch: later Captain’s Days add weapons, Sprites and island changes. Our Treasure Hunters weapons guide breaks down the three abilities Epic has announced and how they fit into Battle Royale.

Fortnite Treasure Hunters Battle Pass: Ace and Robin

The Fortnite Treasure Hunters Battle Pass includes Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin. Epic has also confirmed new anime-style looks for Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte. Those characters are Battle Pass rewards, whereas Luffy, Nami and Usopp are announced for the Item Shop at launch.

Gifting the Battle Pass gives both the sender and the recipient the Dark Kawaii Team Leader Outfit style. That’s a bonus style, separate from the One Piece character Outfits. Our Battle Pass guide explains the rewards and gifting process.

One Piece Item Shop dates and character schedule

The Fortnite Treasure Hunters character rollout stretches across the first half of November. Luffy, Nami and Usopp were the launch-day Shop wave on November 1. Zoro, Sanji and the Chopper Sidekick are scheduled for November 7. The Chopper release is a Sidekick, not a playable Outfit.

DateConfirmed arrivals
November 1Luffy, Nami and Usopp
November 5 at 7 PM ET (midnight GMT on November 6)A$AP Rocky
November 7Zoro, Sanji and Chopper Sidekick
November 12Lil Uzi Vert
November 13Buggy
November 14Kasane Teto and Cap’n Hatsune Miku

The Item Shop release dates are staggered, so not every crossover character arrives on November 1. Our One Piece skins guide covers which characters join on each date, including Chopper’s separate Sidekick release.

Captain’s Days, Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sundays

Fortnite Treasure Hunters opened with a Captain’s Day on November 1, with more scheduled on November 7, 12, 14 and 21. Each brings fresh weapons, Sprites or other content to the island. The first begins at 2 PM GMT. Epic has not given individual UK start times for the later Captain’s Days.

Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sundays keep the schedule moving between those bigger drops. Epic says they include match-start Captain weapons and boosted drops, giving players another reason to jump back in during the week.

Chapter 7 finale and Captain X’s giant chest

Saturday, December 5, 2026 is the date Epic has set aside for the Chapter 7 end event. That’s a separate occasion from the November 1 Treasure Hunters launch. Details of the event’s exact start time and playlist will follow nearer the finale.

Captain X, the masked figure introducing the treasure hunt, is also teasing a huge chest with a secret inside. Epic is treating that reveal as part of the season’s story. See our Captain X guide for the trailer and chest details.

Fortnite Treasure Hunters: free One Piece quests and Sprays

The launch also brings One Piece Episode quests and collectible Sprays. The in-game quest milestones being reported are one completed quest for Luffy and Zoro, three for Nami and Usopp, five for Sanji and Chopper, and seven for Buggy. These are cosmetic Sprays, not free character skins. Eight opening objectives have been reported at 10,000 XP each, making the track worth up to 80,000 XP if all eight are present in your quest list. Individual reward icons and objectives should be verified in game because the public Epic announcement does not itemise the full milestone table.

For a closer look at the outfits, use our Fortnite One Piece skins guide. To keep a record of earnable cosmetics, see the free Fortnite cosmetics tracker.

Fortnite Treasure Hunters chest prizes and Pirate Shop reports

Treasure Hunters has players checking random chests for more than standard weapons and shields. Reports describe a particularly rare Pirate Shop Access prize and gold-themed cosmetics, but Epic’s public season announcement has not published a full chest-prize table or any drop odds. These are player-reported rewards, not guaranteed prizes or a universal free Item Shop offer.

Players have reported Solid Gold Rocky items, gauntlets, a Mercedes G vehicle, a Golden Llama decal, No Trespassing Jam Track and a Plunder in Paradise loading screen among the prizes. The exact eligibility and activation rules for Pirate Shop Access must be checked on an account that actually receives the reward. It should not be confused with a normal chest, a buried treasure chest found with Sprite help, or the giant story chest tied to Captain X.

The Treasure Hunters loot pool also includes One Piece-themed abilities and weapons. Epic specifically highlights Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit and Zoro’s Three Sword Style; players can explore the new island with cannons and the fresh captain-themed equipment without needing an Item Shop purchase. Later Captain’s Days introduce additional content on their advertised dates, so items scheduled for a future week are not necessarily available on November 2.

Epic’s own public season announcement confirms the island, character release dates and Captain’s Days, but does not verify the individual chest rewards listed here. We’ll keep the distinction clear rather than calling those reports official.

Treasure Hunts, Map Fragments and Captain X

Treasure Hunt quests are separate from the reported random Chest cosmetics. Launch-day players have reported objectives for opening 25 Treasure Chests, two Rare Chests and two Sprite Chests. Those are quest counters, not published Pirate Shop Access odds. Our Chest rewards guide explains the difference, while the Pirate Shop drop-rate guide looks at the rare reward itself.

Players are also collecting Map Fragments, with A$AP Rocky’s battleship among the reported locations. Completing the six-fragment collection has not been confirmed as a way to open Captain X’s giant chained Chest. For the ongoing mystery, see our Captain X guide. The Sprite guide covers the separate Wanted Poster and buried-Chest hunt.

What to do now in Fortnite Treasure Hunters

With the new season live, open the current pass to find Ace and Robin, check the Item Shop for Luffy, Nami and Usopp, and try the One Piece combat powers on Crossbones Isle. Check the Quests tab for the opening One Piece episodes; later Captain’s Days and cosmetics have separate release dates.

Fortnite Treasure Hunters has plenty to explore already, but there is no need to rush through everything in one session. Start with the new map and One Piece abilities, then watch for the remaining captain arrivals, weekly bonuses and the December finale.
