ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches: All 13 Locations and Farming Routes

Snow-covered Pendola Pass with fallen Emperor in ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches appear in thirteen groups across Pendola Pass, with 98 possible hiding places between them. Each group has multiple potential positions, so the same spot may be empty next time. Community maps disagree about how many groups are populated in any given raid. The cases are white with yellow trim, partly buried in snow, and reward better-tier loot than regular Raider Caches.

Their changing locations are what make them difficult to farm. Searching an entire cluster works better than following one pin and leaving if the case isn’t there. Here’s every location group, how to identify the right container and how the frozen-cache Trial worked during the first week of Frozen Trail.

All 13 ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches areas

The table identifies the closest named map areas and the number of possible positions in each group, based on game-file mapping. Community map analysis identifies thirteen groups of possible spawns, not 98 cases available at once. Another current cache map estimates eight or nine filled groups per ordinary raid, so treat the positions as places to check, not promised loot. The 98 positions are alternatives across those groups.

Each ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches group covers several nearby paths or patches of ground. Search a compact loop around each landmark before moving to another POI, since a possible spawn may be just off the obvious path. There is no benefit in repeatedly searching an already empty point during the same raid.

How to identify ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches

Look for the white hard case on a low sled-like base, with yellow accents visible against the snow. It can make a faint ticking sound. When you approach, the interaction should say Breach & Search and use your Raider Tool. Those are the clearest signs you’ve found the right kind.

Pendola Pass also contains nine normal Raider Caches, which open with a regular Search action. Those are different loot containers and did not count for the frozen-cache challenge. A box doesn’t become a frozen variant merely because there is snow on the ground around it.

Best north-side ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches route

From a northern spawn, check Researcher Lodgings and Northern Tracks, then work towards Deep-Space Telescope and Dispatch Tower. Search the surrounding rocks and paths, listening for the ticking as you circle. Continue to the northern Frozen River, Porta Benvenuti and Weather Station only when your inventory and the remaining raid time make it worthwhile.

Porta Benvenuti has twelve potential positions, but only one selected cache. The Pendola Pass map guide helps you choose a safe way out; Dynamic Loot Zones explains the separate mechanic that affects loot value around the region.

Best south-side ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches route

For a southern spawn, start around Old Hamlet and Southern Pass. Both have ten potential spots, and they connect with the smaller southern Frozen River and Old Town groups. The two Old Town areas have only four and five possible positions, making them easier to inspect if you want a compact route.

A successful ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches run doesn’t need to cross the whole mountain. Once you have good loot, consider extracting instead of travelling to one more distant group. The map conditions guide and Storm Hut locations are useful if freezing weather makes the journey more dangerous.

ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches Trial rewards

The Search frozen Raider Caches Trial appeared in Season 6 Week 1, October 8–12, 2026. Guides for that rotation documented 800 score per frozen case, with a 3,000-point three-star threshold, meaning four successful searches reached 3,200. Ordinary Raider Caches did not count.

The challenge is not among the October 20–26 Week 3 objectives. If it returns, check the live Trials board for current scoring. Our Trials Season 6 guide covers the larger rank and Maestro rewards.

Are ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches worth looting without a Trial?

Yes, when you’re already near a group. The higher loot tier can make a case more rewarding than an ordinary cache, although the contents remain random. Do not plan around a particular blueprint appearing in one of them. Checking nearby groups while finishing quests can be better value than making a whole raid depend on the cases alone.

Flash Freeze can interrupt an ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches search. When the warning appears, shelter under solid roofing and return to the cluster after the weather passes. Our Frozen Trail overview and Frozen Trail quest tracker help combine scavenging with other work on Pendola Pass.

ARC Raiders Frozen Raider Caches FAQs

Do all 98 potential spots contain caches?

No. The 98 points are possible locations across thirteen groups. Not every position is populated in a single raid, and community maps differ on the number of active cases.

What distinguishes a frozen case?

White and yellow casing, partially buried snow placement, ticking audio and the Breach & Search prompt.

Did four caches earn three Trial stars?

During the documented Season 6 Week 1 challenge, yes. Four at 800 points exceeded the 3,000-point threshold.
