ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones change the value of certain loot areas from one raid to the next. The area’s loot category stays the same, so Residential is still Residential and Technological is still Technological. What changes is how rewarding the area is during that particular session.
Embark introduced this system as a test in Frozen Trail Update 2.0 on October 8, 2026, exclusively on Pendola Pass. It affects route planning: a spot that was a high-value red or yellow zone last raid will not necessarily have the same value in your next one.
How ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones work

Look at the loot-value colour shown for points of interest on your current Pendola Pass map. Dynamic Loot Zones can alter that value between sessions, making some areas more worthwhile and others less worthwhile than in the previous raid. The category of items in a location does not change.
ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones are different from randomized individual container contents. The system changes the overall value assigned to certain areas. Normal item spawn randomness still exists inside those areas.
ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones: Red, yellow and ordinary-value areas
Loot-value colours tell you where the current raid has better concentrations of valuable gear. In a higher-value zone, check containers of the category you need, then compare with your extraction distance and the enemies in that part of the map.
During ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones is that a route cannot be treated as permanently high-value. Check the colours again at the start of every raid rather than repeatedly heading to yesterday’s best-marked location.
Residential stays Residential; material categories do not move
If you need Electrical loot for Calculators and Advanced Electrical Components, visit an Electrical or Technological location. A high-value Residential spot is still weighted towards Residential materials and does not become an Electrical zone just because its rating increased.
ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones therefore change the choice between two locations of the same type more than they change which loot categories you should hunt. Use the map legend before deciding where to farm.
How to choose a farming route for your current raid

At spawn, identify the materials you need. Find points of interest marked with the matching loot category, compare their current value colours and choose one within a safe distance of an active extraction. Plan a second stop along your return route rather than travelling across the whole map for a distant red area.
ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones make the risk calculation different each time: an area with better loot can also attract more Raiders. If your backpack already contains rare Outpost materials, extracting is often worth more than reaching one final high-value marker.
Does the system affect every map?
No. Embark describes Dynamic Loot Zones as a Pendola Pass test. The same patch increased overall Riven Tides loot value, but that is a separate balancing change, not confirmation that Riven Tides uses the same per-raid zone-value system.
The ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones test may expand in later updates, but Embark has not announced the rollout or which exact named points of interest change each session. An invented fixed rotation chart would not help players.
Dynamic Loot Zones versus map conditions
Redirection is a scheduled map condition that activates Emperor Relays and payload drops. Flash Freeze changes the weather and makes Storm Huts useful. Dynamic Loot Zones instead affect the relative value of areas during a raid, so they operate at a different level from those events.
ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones can influence where you gather ordinary materials while a map condition influences what special activities are available. Do not confuse a red loot area with an active Redirection Relay.
What is known and what has not been published
Embark has confirmed the per-session value shifts and the unchanged loot categories. It has not published an exhaustive list of affected POIs, the numerical size of each change or a fixed repeating pattern. The current session’s map is the source for its actual colour assignments.
Use ARC Raiders Pendola Pass Dynamic Loot Zones to make better decisions on each raid, not to promise a particular item will spawn. A high-value area improves a route’s appeal without guaranteeing a specific blueprint, weapon or crafting material.
