ARC Raiders Expired Respirator Locations: Best Medical Loot Farm

ARC Raiders Expired Respirator is a rare item found in Medical loot areas. If you need one for Soul’s Offering Stage 1, head to Testing Annex in the south-east of Dam Battlegrounds. Its laboratory rooms are packed with searchable furniture, and the Red Lake Balcony extraction lift is close enough for a quick getaway.

Buried City Hospital is your next best option. Expired Respirators have no guaranteed spawn, so don’t waste a raid checking one cabinet and leaving. Search the whole Medical area, put your find somewhere safe and extract. You need one for Soul’s Offering, or four in total if you’re also completing Trophy Display.

Best ARC Raiders Expired Respirator location: Testing Annex

When you reach Testing Annex, go into the laboratory rooms on the northern side of the building. Look for the yellow glass panels and desks covered with scientific equipment. These rooms are a better starting point than the nearby residential buildings because the respirator belongs to the Medical loot pool.

For ARC Raiders Expired Respirator farming, search white medical bags, filing cabinets, desk drawers, medicine stands and storage racks. Check loose items on shelves as well. The exact container changes between raids, so work through the rooms rather than relying on a screenshot of one successful pickup.

The Red Lake Balcony lift is just outside Testing Annex. Once you’ve found an ARC Raiders Expired Respirator, use a safe pocket if you’ve got space. Otherwise, head for that lift instead of carrying the item through the rest of the map.

Other ARC Raiders Expired Respirator locations

Buried City Hospital is the main alternative. Search the wards and rooms with medical cabinets, beds and drawers. It has plenty of loot, but it’s not worth crossing the map if you’ve spawned beside another Medical area that’s still untouched.

Other Medical locations include Research, Piazza Arbusto and Plaza Rosa in Buried City, plus the Commissary Supermarket on Pendola Pass. Use the Medical cross symbol on your map to recognise them. They’re alternatives, not guaranteed respirator locations. If a room has already been looted, move on rather than repeatedly checking empty furniture.

If you’re wondering why an ARC Raiders Expired Respirator never appears in ordinary houses, that’s probably the problem: this is Medical loot, not a Residential trinket. Rock Salt and Dead Flowers have different farming routes, so there’s little benefit in hunting for every Soul’s Offering material in the same building.

How many Expired Respirators do you need?

For Soul’s Offering, save one Expired Respirator for Stage 1, Construct Vaulto’s Offering. The other contributions are 1 Dead Flowers, 2 Rock Salt and 15 ARC Alloy. Donate everything through Projects in Speranza to unlock the next stage.

The separate Trophy Display project needs three ARC Raiders Expired Respirators for Stage 2, Soaring Menaces. If you’re doing both projects and haven’t donated anything yet, keep four total. Soul’s Offering runs for a limited time, while Trophy Display is a separate project.

Can you craft or buy an Expired Respirator?

There is no crafting recipe for the ARC Raiders Expired Respirator, and item listings don’t show a regular trader selling it. You have to find one while raiding. Unlike the Remote Raider Flares used in Stage 2, you can’t make a respirator at Utility Station 1.

An ARC Raiders Expired Respirator weighs 2 kg, stacks up to three and sells for 640 Raider Coins. Those coins aren’t worth losing your project progress over. Keep it until you’ve donated the required amount.

Should you recycle an Expired Respirator?

Recycling an ARC Raiders Expired Respirator at Speranza gives 8 Rubber Parts and 4 Fabric. Salvaging one during a raid gives 5 Rubber Parts. Both destroy the item, so neither is worth doing while a project still needs it.

Already recycled your only ARC Raiders Expired Respirator? You’ll have to find another. Go back to Testing Annex or Hospital, search the Medical containers and extract with the next one you find.

How to hand in your respirator for Soul’s Offering

Back in Speranza, open Projects → Soul’s Offering → Construct Vaulto’s Offering. Contribute the respirator from your stash, along with any other materials you have collected. Finding an ARC Raiders Expired Respirator isn’t enough on its own: the project only advances when you donate it.

If Testing Annex is picked clean, switch to another Medical location or extract and try a fresh raid. There’s no guarantee of finding a respirator on the first run, but targeting Medical loot is far better than searching random buildings.
