Dragon Adventures Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion is a new Halloween 2026 cosmetic reward announced for Week 2. Sonar Studios says it can drop when you trick or treat directly with another player. That is a separate interaction from the matching-game doors around Spooky Castle, and the matching-game doors don’t count as player-to-player requests.
The Dragon Adventures Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion is chance-based, and the developer hasn’t revealed an exact drop rate or guaranteed number of successful interactions. Here’s how player-to-player trick or treating works, what the new reward is supposed to be and what to check if you’ve been playing the door minigame without getting the potion.
How to get the Dragon Adventures Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion
Enter the Halloween World and approach another player’s character. Open the interaction menu and choose the request to trick or treat. Player reports from Week 1 say the E interaction prompt on PC brings up the option to request Candy. The other person must participate in the exchange; sending a request that gets declined is not a reliable completed interaction.
Sonar Studios specifically says the new Pumpkin Spice cosmetic trait potion may drop from this player-to-player trick or treat action when Week 2 begins. That means completing the purple door’s matching game is not the officially announced potion source.
Ask a friend to take turns or join a public server where people are pursuing the same objective. Only accepted interactions qualify for the announced potion chance.
When the Pumpkin Spice potion becomes available
The Dragon Adventures Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion was announced for the Halloween Week 2 update, scheduled for Friday, October 23 at 9 PM BST. The Week 1 event has player trick-or-treating already, but the announcement places the new potion chance in Week 2.
Week 2 began on October 23 at 9 PM BST. If your server hasn’t updated, rejoin before trying for the new potion.

Player requests versus trick-or-treat doors
The Halloween event uses two features with similar names. At doors, you knock and play a matching minigame for Candy and possible egg drops. The doors also have a shared streak system: more player activity raises the Candy payout and egg chance.
Player-to-player trick or treating works through interacting with another person’s character and requesting the exchange. It doesn’t require matching tiles or building a door streak. The developer attaches the Dragon Adventures Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion chance to this social interaction.
If your goal is the potion, a Tier 5 door is not a confirmed substitute. If your goal is Candy or a Lantern Egg mission that specifically names the doors, however, those matching games are still useful. Check the wording of the objective you’re working on.
Does every trick or treat give the potion?
No guaranteed Dragon Adventures Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion is described in the developer’s October 21 announcement. It uses chance-based wording for the Pumpkin Spice reward, so several successful exchanges may award nothing unusual. There is no officially published drop percentage or pity counter to make a certain number of requests an assured result.
Keep an eye on the reward notification and your inventory after each exchange. If another player declines, you haven’t necessarily completed an eligible interaction. If the exchange succeeds and no potion appears, that can simply mean the rare reward didn’t roll.
The Dragon Adventures Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion is a cosmetic trait potion. The available developer notes don’t explain a special speed, damage or egg-hatch bonus, so there is no basis for promising a gameplay advantage from using it.
Best way to farm the Dragon Adventures Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion
A busy but cooperative public server is the easiest place to find other people who can accept requests. It may help to ask in chat whether anyone else is trying to complete the same Halloween activity, then take turns rather than interrupting strangers. A private server also works if friends are present and the interaction is enabled for your session.
Use downtime between other activities to send requests, but don’t confuse this with the Balefire Crystal’s half-hourly Attunement event. Balefire Shards can award Balefire Eggs and Nisekabe unlocks; they are not the announced Pumpkin Spice potion source.
If you are unable to target a character because the area is crowded, move somewhere with fewer dragons and try the interaction prompt again. If the game reports a restriction or cooldown, follow the on-screen message rather than attempting rapid repeated requests.

Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion not dropping or not showing
First check that you’re interacting with another player’s character and the request is accepted. Matching games at the purple doors won’t trigger the announced potion chance.
Third, confirm whether a reward actually appeared on screen. A successful request doesn’t guarantee the potion, and the developer hasn’t promised a fixed rate. If the potion is shown as awarded but absent from your inventory, record the reward message, your inventory and the approximate time for the game’s support team.
The Dragon Adventures Pumpkin Spice Trait Potion shouldn’t be confused with an unlockable Lantern Egg cosmetic trait such as Headless. Headless comes from the announced elite-mob route, which is a different Week 2 activity.
