Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 takes you from Spooky Castle’s trick-or-treat doors to the new Balefire Crystal events. The biggest change for egg collectors is that some dragons must be unlocked before they can hatch from Lantern Eggs, including Nisekabe through the new Balefire Storm activity.
Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 also has a returning Community Cauldron, ghost hunts and the Merge Lab. Week 2 is scheduled for October 23 at 9 PM BST, with more of the Halloween World opening and new ways to earn seasonal dragons. Here’s what to tackle first, what each activity gives you and how to work towards the eggs you want.
Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 Week 2 release time and story
Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 Week 2 is scheduled for Friday, October 23 at 9 PM BST (8 PM UTC). Sonar Studios says the Halloween storyline continues and more of the event world opens, including the floating houses and Balefire Crystal. The full Week 2 story quest order and rewards are still to be confirmed when the update becomes playable.
If you’re starting the event for the first time, speak to Pooki at the Spooky Castle entrance. You can still earn Candy and complete the original Lantern Egg missions while exploring the new area.
Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 Balefire Eggs and Attunement
The Balefire Crystal event is due to run across each server every 30 minutes. Damage or mine the crystal while Halloween mobs defend it. Contributing to the event gives you five minutes of Balefire Attunement, according to the developer’s October 21 announcement.
Once the crystal is destroyed, a Balefire Storm scatters shards around the Halloween World. Break these shards to collect rewards. Most contain Candy, but breaking them with Balefire Attunement active also gives you a chance to find Balefire Eggs or unlock Nisekabe as a possible Lantern Egg hatch. The buff lasts five minutes, so the shard hunt is the part to focus on after the crystal falls.
Balefire Eggs are chance-based rewards, so you may need several crystal events and shard runs before you get one.
Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 Nisekabe: Three unlock methods
The developer has confirmed three Nisekabe methods for Week 2: hatch it from a Balefire Egg; unlock it through Balefire Storms and hatch it from a Lantern Egg; or merge five Beastimoors and one Dratheros at the Merge Lab. Nisekabe was available in limited ways during Week 1, but these wider routes are scheduled for October 23.
For the Lantern Egg method, check that Nisekabe appears among your unlocked hatch options before using an egg. If you’d rather avoid relying on egg drops, save five Beastimoors and one Dratheros for the Merge Lab recipe.
Paranox, elite mobs and other Week 2 unlocks
Elite Halloween mobs are also arriving. Defeating them gives a chance to unlock Dysuva or the Headless cosmetic trait in the Lantern Egg. You’ll still need to hatch a Lantern Egg after unlocking the result you’re after.
The returning Paranox boss uses illusions and a door-selection mechanic. Sonar Studios says players will need to work out which door is correct while Paranox multiplies itself. Defeating it unlocks Nightmare Paranox for the Lantern Egg’s potential hatch pool. The illusion and door sequence needs to be checked in-game before it can be presented as a complete boss walkthrough.
You can also get a chance at a Pumpkin Spice cosmetic trait potion by using the player-to-player trick-or-treat interaction. That’s separate from the matching minigame at the Halloween World’s doors. The potion is a possible reward, not a guaranteed one.
Until the new story quests are confirmed, prioritise a Balefire Crystal round when it begins, then use your attunement time to collect shards.
How to start Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026
Travel to the Halloween World, then head to the entrance of Spooky Castle. Pooki is waiting there to introduce the event and begin its storyline. From this area you can take part in trick-or-treating, explore the Halloween activities and work on the event pass.
From Spooky Castle, start with the event quest menu. You’ll find Lantern Egg unlock objectives and daily or weekly pass tasks alongside the door games, ghost hunts, Community Cauldron and Merge Lab. Checking the objectives first helps you choose activities that progress your next hatch.
Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 trick-or-treat doors and streaks
To collect Candy in Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026, approach a trick-or-treat door in the Halloween World, knock and complete its matching minigame. The doors have streaks this year. Each time another player uses a door, its streak increases, and higher streaks raise the Candy payout and the chance of receiving an egg.
Before starting a matching game, look at the streak indicator above the door. A busier door with a higher streak can pay out more Candy and improve your egg chance. Players have described five streak tiers, though the highest tier may not be available when you arrive.
Playing alone in a private server can make high streaks frustrating to reach. Other players need to use those same doors to build them, so a populated server is helpful when you’re trying to access the higher-tier rewards. A high-tier door isn’t a permanent upgrade: the active streak can change as people move through the area.
If your chosen door’s streak stays low, try a door that other players are using. A higher streak improves the chance of an egg but never guarantees one.
How the Lantern Egg works in Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026
The biggest change to Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 is the Lantern Egg’s unlock system. At the start, the Lantern Egg can hatch only Skelltor. Completing Halloween activities adds more dragons, elements and cosmetic traits to its possible hatch results, reducing Skelltor’s share of the odds as the pool expands.
Open the Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 event quests and find the Lantern Egg unlock objectives. The menu lists the activities associated with each reward. These unlocks are not the same as finding a Lantern Egg: owning an egg doesn’t automatically mean the rare dragons are in its hatch pool.
- Travel to Spooky Castle and open the event quests.
- Find the Lantern Egg unlock mission and inspect the available dragon, element and trait slots.
- Complete the corresponding Halloween activities, including the listed minigames or timed event where applicable.
- Return to the quest screen to check your unlock progress and the options now available in the egg.
- Hatch a Lantern Egg once you’ve unlocked the results you’re aiming for.
The hatch pool changes as you unlock more dragons and traits. Check the current Lantern Egg menu for your available results before hatching, especially when you’re chasing a specific dragon.

How to get Beastimoor and Nisekabe
Beastimoor is the new wolf-inspired Halloween dragon available during Week 1. The studio confirms that you can hatch it from the event, and players have reported receiving Beastimoor from Possessed Eggs. Beastimoor is a chance-based hatch, so you may need more than one attempt.
Nisekabe becomes more widely available in Week 2. For the precise egg and merging requirements, see the three routes above. Balefire Storms are the place to start if you’re chasing Nisekabe through Lantern Eggs.
If you’ve already collected several Beastimoors, the Merge Lab may be more appealing than farming for another egg. Otherwise, take part in the half-hourly Balefire Crystal event and spend the five-minute attunement window breaking storm shards.
Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 Community Cauldron rewards
The Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 Community Cauldron is a timed cooperative activity. Every hour, a giant cauldron begins brewing; players work together on the requested tasks to strengthen the potion. If you participate and stay until the event finishes, you receive a reward. Leaving before the activity ends may mean missing the participation payout.
The cauldron is also one of the activities players are using while working through the Lantern Egg missions. Check your own unlock panel before each hourly round so you know which task you’re working towards. The payout depends on your participation and the event’s results, so check the reward screen after each round.
If you’re playing in a server where interactions are crowded or hard to target, moving to a less busy server may help you interact with the cauldron. The trade-off is that collaborative activities and door streaks benefit from other players being present.
Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 ghost-catching, Merge Lab and event pass
Ghost-catching returns in Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 as part of the seasonal activities. Check the current event prompts to see which ghost-catching tasks count towards your seasonal progress.
The dragon merge lab is also back. The Merge Lab lets you exchange eligible dragons for another result. For Week 2, the announced Nisekabe recipe needs five Beastimoors and one Dratheros. Double-check the recipe at the lab before submitting dragons you want to keep or trade.
The Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 Event Pass rewards you for completing its seasonal objectives. Work through the tasks visible in the current pass menu and claim unlocked rewards there. If a claimed reward doesn’t appear, check your inventory and the pass screen again. Take screenshots of your progress and contact the game’s support team if it’s still missing.
What to prioritise on your first visit
For your first Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 session, talk to Pooki, check the Lantern Egg objectives and pick up the event pass tasks. In a public server, work on the trick-or-treat door streaks between timed Community Cauldron and Balefire Crystal events.
For Nisekabe, the fastest useful first move is to join the next Balefire Crystal event and break shards during attunement. If you already have the Merge Lab ingredients, check that recipe too.
