Dragon Adventures Merge Lab: Halloween Recipes and Nisekabe Requirements

Dragon Adventures Merge Lab is back for Halloween 2026, allowing eligible seasonal dragons to be combined into rarer ones. The biggest new recipe is Nisekabe, which Sonar Studios says requires five Beastimoors and one Dratheros.

If you’re collecting Beastimoors from the Halloween event, that recipe gives your extra copies a purpose. It also raises a question: is merging six dragons a better way to obtain Nisekabe than trying the new Balefire Eggs? Here’s how the announced lab works, what you need to save and how to avoid trading away a dragon you meant to keep.

How the Dragon Adventures Merge Lab works

Sonar Studios describes the Merge Lab as a returning Halloween feature that lets players merge multiple eligible dragons for a rarer result. It is part of the seasonal Halloween World around Spooky Castle, where Pooki introduces the event and its activities.

Before doing anything, open the current recipe menu and read what it actually accepts. The Week 1 developer announcement confirms the general merging mechanic, but doesn’t provide a complete list of every Halloween 2026 recipe or special restriction. An old recipe guide can be useful background, not a substitute for the current menu.

If you’re just beginning the event, our Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 overview explains how to reach the Halloween World and work through its main activities.

Dragon Adventures Merge Lab Nisekabe recipe

The Week 2 Nisekabe recipe is five Beastimoors plus one Dratheros. The developer announced those exact ingredients on October 21. Nisekabe is a new ghostly plush-style dragon, and this is one of three confirmed routes to get it.

Beastimoor is the other new Halloween 2026 dragon. Sonar Studios confirms that it is hatchable during the event, and players report obtaining it from Possessed Eggs. Because you need five for the merge, you may want to hold onto duplicates that you would otherwise trade.

Dratheros is the final ingredient. If yours has a special trait or colour you value, think carefully about using it. A Dragon Adventures Merge Lab recipe is an inventory exchange, so don’t assume the dragons you select will remain available afterwards.

How to collect five Beastimoors

Check the Halloween egg rewards and your current hatch possibilities before starting a long farm. Players report Beastimoor hatches from Possessed Eggs, although the developer hasn’t published a complete 2026 drop-rate table for those eggs. It may take several attempts before you have five extra copies.

Door matching games around Spooky Castle are a repeatable source of Candy and possible eggs. Higher shared door streaks raise payouts and egg chances. The Community Cauldron is another timed reward activity, beginning every hour for players who contribute and stay until the end.

The Dragon Adventures Merge Lab doesn’t turn a Candy balance directly into five Beastimoors. You’ll need actual eligible dragons. Keep track of how many are spare copies and how many you want to retain for your own collection.

Is merging better than Balefire Eggs?

Two other Nisekabe routes are arriving with Week 2. You can hatch it from a Balefire Egg, or unlock Nisekabe as a possible Lantern Egg hatch by breaking shards during the Balefire Storm with Attunement active. The crystal event repeats every 30 minutes per server.

The benefit of merging is that its ingredient requirement is clear. The drawback is sacrificing several dragons. The benefit of the storm is that you can try for a Balefire Egg and a Lantern Egg unlock without putting your Beastimoors into the lab, but the rewards are chance-based.

A collector who already has six suitable ingredients may find the Dragon Adventures Merge Lab more appealing. Someone with only one valuable Beastimoor might prefer the Balefire event until they have a much larger stock of duplicates.

Other Dragon Adventures Merge Lab recipes

The original Halloween Week 1 announcement says multiple copies of the same Halloween dragon can be merged into a rarer result, but it doesn’t give a complete reliable current recipe catalogue. Nisekabe is the specific Week 2 formula published by the developer.

That leaves a gap for anyone following an older Halloween guide: other combinations might be available, but their exact 2026 names and requirements need checking against the game. The safest way to handle an unfamiliar recipe is to check the result and every ingredient directly in the Merge Lab before confirming.

If another Dragon Adventures Merge Lab recipe is visible in the active menu, you can plan around that displayed requirement. Don’t build an expensive inventory strategy around a recipe screenshot from a different Halloween year.

Dragon Adventures Merge Lab not working

If your selected dragons aren’t accepted, first compare their species and counts with the current displayed recipe. Nisekabe requires five Beastimoors and one Dratheros, not five random Halloween dragons and any extra rare species.

Next, check whether those dragons are actually available in your inventory for the exchange. The public announcements don’t spell out every possible lock, trade or dragon-state restriction, so follow any message the interface gives you. If something looks wrong, take a screenshot before trying another combination.

If you see the correct ingredients selected but the game refuses to complete the merge, keep the dragons and report the issue with the recipe screen and error message. That is safer than discarding them or repeatedly attempting a costly exchange.

Dragon Adventures Merge Lab FAQ

What do I need for Nisekabe? Five Beastimoors and one Dratheros, according to the Week 2 developer announcement.

When is the recipe available? The expanded Nisekabe methods are scheduled for Halloween Week 2 on Friday, October 23.
