The Adopt Me Crystal Egg costs 4,000 Tickets at Tom’s Pet Releaser shop. It was introduced in the February 20, 2026 overhaul, alongside the cheaper Basic Egg. The Crystal Egg’s special feature is its rarity pool: it doesn’t hatch Common or Uncommon pets, and its published February odds give a 6% total Legendary chance including the limited Giant Panda.
That makes it quite different from the Basic Egg, but it’s also ten times the Ticket price. If you’re deciding where to spend the Tickets you earned by releasing pets, here’s how to get the Crystal Egg, what the developer confirmed about its hatch chances, and what to check for later updates.
How to get the Adopt Me Crystal Egg
Visit Tom at the Pet Releaser and use 4,000 Tickets to purchase a Crystal Egg. Tickets come from releasing unwanted pets. The amount is set by rarity and Neon type, with bonuses for Fly and Ride. You don’t need Bucks, Robux or daily Star Rewards to buy the Adopt Me Crystal Egg.
The Releaser moved temporarily to the main Adoption Island for a few weeks when the Ticket overhaul launched. That wasn’t announced as a permanent relocation, so use the in-game map or Releaser marker to find Tom if his position is different now.

Adopt Me Crystal Egg hatch odds
These Adopt Me Crystal Egg rates were published by Uplift Games in February 2026. The ordinary Legendary outcome was 5.9%, with a separate 0.1% Giant Panda chance during the limited reward period.
| Hatch rarity | February 2026 chance |
|---|---|
| Common | 0% |
| Uncommon | 0% |
| Rare | 50% |
| Ultra Rare | 44% |
| Legendary | 5.9% |
| Giant Panda (limited) | 0.1% |
The 5.9% and 0.1% entries add up to a total of 6% Legendary outcomes in that published table. Rare pets accounted for 50% of hatches and Ultra Rare pets for another 44%. The egg could not hatch Common or Uncommon pets under those February odds.
Can you still hatch Giant Panda?
The February Adopt Me Crystal Egg table specifically included a 0.1% chance of Giant Panda. However, Uplift Games also announced that the Giant Panda event reward was leaving on March 6. Later Pet Releaser updates changed available rewards, so the original table alone doesn’t prove that Giant Panda remains in the current October pool.
Before buying several Crystal Eggs to chase one particular pet, check the current hatch information displayed in-game. A limited historical chance should not be presented as a permanent reward or a guaranteed result after enough attempts.
Crystal Egg vs Basic Egg: where should you spend Tickets?
The Basic Egg costs 400 Tickets, meaning you could buy ten for the cost of one Adopt Me Crystal Egg. The Basic Egg’s published February Legendary total was only 0.26% including Giant Panda, compared with 6% from one Crystal Egg.
If those February odds applied unchanged to ten independent Basic Egg openings, the chance of getting at least one Legendary would be about 2.57%, still lower than a single Crystal Egg’s 6% chance. Those figures explain the difference in the original rarity tables; they aren’t promises about a later refreshed egg pool.

How many pets must you release for 4,000 Tickets?
A regular Common pet grants 100 Tickets, so 40 Common releases add up to the price of one Crystal Egg. A regular Legendary gives 900, a Neon Common gives 2,000 and a regular Ultra Rare gives 300. Fly pets earn an extra 300 Tickets and Ride pets an extra 150 when released.
For most players, the Adopt Me Crystal Egg is a reason to save Tickets over time rather than sacrifice a valuable Neon or old event pet. Trading may give you more value for those pets than the Releaser’s fixed payout, and releasing a pet can’t be undone.
Is the Crystal Egg worth 4,000 Tickets?
If you want an egg without Common or Uncommon results, the Crystal Egg is the stronger option under the official February rates. The Basic Egg is much cheaper if you’re looking for lots of hatches and don’t mind lower-rarity outcomes.
The Adopt Me Crystal Egg is best evaluated against the current Tom shop lineup, especially after later additions such as Kiwi Kiwi and Strawberry Tortle. Check which pets the game currently lists and avoid assuming every February reward is still available.
