Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack arrived on October 14, 2026, with two playable racers, one new machine, one course and five Jukebox songs. Aang and Katara are the new characters, Gliding Air is the vehicle and Lion Turtle Island is the race course. The pack is a paid DLC, but you may already own it through the game’s original Season Pass or Digital Deluxe Edition.
Before buying anything, check which edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds you own. The original Season Pass already includes the Avatar crossover, and the individual DLC costs US$5.99 if you’re purchasing it separately. The October 16–19 Festival is a different event: racing there doesn’t unlock the paid characters, and owning the DLC isn’t the same thing as earning Festival rewards.
How to get the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack
SEGA confirms three purchasing routes: the individual Avatar Legends DLC, the game’s original Season Pass or the original Digital Deluxe Edition. Install the latest game update before trying to access the crossover content. There is no separate racing challenge required to unlock Aang and Katara once your DLC entitlement is recognised.
- Open the game page or add-ons library on your platform.
- Check whether the original Season Pass or Digital Deluxe Edition is already linked to your account.
- If you own neither, purchase the standalone Avatar Legends Pack from your platform’s store.
- Install the DLC and update Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds to the current version.
- Open racer selection for Aang and Katara, the Garage for Gliding Air, and the race and Jukebox menus for the remaining content.
The Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack isn’t part of Season Pass Two by default. That pass is a different product, so don’t buy it expecting to receive the October Avatar characters. Check the name of the add-on rather than relying only on the words “season pass”.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack: Aang, Katara and Gliding Air
Both Aang and Katara become selectable racers after the add-on is installed. Gliding Air is the separate crossover machine. Pick either character in racer selection, then check the garage if you want to use the new vehicle. The machine and the two characters are bundled together; you do not have to buy each one separately.
The pack also includes Lion Turtle Island, an Avatar Legends-themed course. That’s one playable course, not five different tracks. SEGA separately lists five music selections, including variations used during the race and menus.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack: every new music track
The five Jukebox additions are named in SEGA’s October 14 announcement. Open the Jukebox in-game to hear them. All five are included with the DLC:
- Lion Turtle Island: Intro
- Lion Turtle Island
- Lion Turtle Island: Final Lap
- Avatar Legends: Character Select
- Avatar Legends: Result
The titles Intro and Final Lap are song names, not additional versions of the Lion Turtle Island course. If your only interest is racing the new stage, you just need the one DLC course; the songs are part of the same purchase.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack: price and Season Pass ownership
The individual pack launched at US$5.99. Local currency prices depend on the storefront and region. Owners of the original Season Pass or original Digital Deluxe Edition are entitled to the content through those purchases. When comparing store products, look specifically for the October 2026 Avatar Legends DLC rather than assuming every Deluxe or Year Two bundle has the same contents.
If the add-on is installed but the characters aren’t appearing, close and reopen the game, confirm the latest update downloaded, and inspect the DLC entitlement in your platform library. You shouldn’t need to earn Avatar Legends Festival points to activate purchased content.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack and the October Avatar Legends Festival
The Avatar Legends Festival begins October 16 at 1 AM BST and ends October 19 at 12:59 AM BST. SEGA describes a three-team online competition in which race placements and special tasks such as Touch Dash contribute points. The Festival has its own rewards and is separate from the pack’s racers, course, vehicle and music.
For the exact event window, competition rules and rewards graphic, see our Avatar Legends Festival guide. Buying the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack adds the crossover content, not automatic completion of its timed team event.
