Pokémon GO Dynamax Latias: November 13 Max Battle Counters and Weaknesses

Pokémon GO Dynamax Latias appears on November 13, with a five-star Max Battle Hour from 6–7 PM local time alongside Latios. Latias caught during the event knows Mist Ball.

Its Dragon/Psychic typing offers several super-effective matchups, but a Pokémon still needs Max Battle eligibility to enter. Choose from your usable roster before relying on familiar raid rankings.

Pokémon GO Dynamax Latias: When Dynamax Latias arrives

Dynamax Latias appears during Into the Wild on November 13, 2026, alongside Dynamax Latios. These are new Max Battle encounters, not the same as a normal Latias raid.

Check the Power Spot schedule on the day for the encounter and its timing. The announcement names November 13, so don’t invent a separate hour for Latias.

Pokémon GO Dynamax Latias: Which attacks are effective

Latias is a Dragon- and Psychic-type Pokémon. It is weak to Ice, Dragon, Fairy, Ghost, Dark and Bug attacks. In a Max Battle, your chosen attacker must also be Dynamax-eligible.

Dragon Pokémon risk taking strong Dragon damage, and some Dark Pokémon have better resistance profiles depending on Latias’s moves. Those trade-offs are worth considering alongside the type advantage.

Pokémon GO Dynamax Latias: How to build the team

Choose an eligible Max attacker with a super-effective attack type, then fill the other slots with durability and support. Power up its Max Attack if you want more damage, and consider Max Guard or Max Spirit for a longer fight.

Check the attacker’s Fast Move because this determines Max Attack typing. Bringing a familiar normal raid counter isn’t useful if that Pokémon cannot enter Max Battles.

Pokémon GO Dynamax Latias: November 13 preparation

Save Max Particles ahead of November 13 and coordinate with other players at active Power Spots. You’re preparing for Latias and Latios on the same date, so choose a team that can cover both while adjusting to each boss’s actual moves.

The announcement establishes the appearance date but doesn’t give a definitive drop table or a tested fastest clear team. Keep those separate from the confirmed weaknesses and battle eligibility rules.

Pokémon GO Dynamax Latias: november 13 latias max battle hour and special move

Niantic confirms five-star Latias Max Battles on Friday, November 13, including a 6–7 PM local time Max Battle Hour. Latias caught during the event knows the charged attack Mist Ball. Shiny Latias is possible, and a successful five-star Max Battle catch can receive the event Special Background.

Latias has Dragon/Psychic typing. Dragon, Ice, Fairy, Ghost, Dark and Bug are super effective, but only Max-capable Pokémon can participate. Choose an eligible attacker whose Fast Move gives a suitable Max Attack type, then plan for healing and protection. Not yet verified: the encounter’s actual charged attacks, best tested team and exact resource costs.

Pokémon GO Dynamax Latias: preparing for the event

Dark-type attackers may handle Psychic damage better, while Dragon types can hit hard but risk taking super-effective damage in return. The boss’s live moves will influence the safest choice, so don’t treat untested rankings as settled.
