EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1: All 15 Players, Ratings and Live Upgrades

EA FC 27 Future Stars Academy

EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 is live with 15 young players, led by 90-rated Vicky López and 89-rated Rio Ngumoha. Every card in the squad is live, which means the headline ratings can still improve when the February 3 upgrade batch arrives.

This is also one of those promos where checking the actual in-game cards matters. A few pre-release lists had positions and ratings wrong, including Myles Lewis-Skelly being shown at left-back and Julian Hall at 87. The live Future Stars versions are Lewis-Skelly at 88 CDM and Hall at 85 ST, so the table below uses the cards that actually released on October 9.

The full EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 has 15 standard player items. Holographic versions can make some databases look as though there are 30 cards, but those are alternate versions of the same 15 players rather than a second set of names.

Who are the highest-rated Future Stars Team 1 players?

Vicky López is the highest-rated card in EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 at 90 OVR. Her live item is a right winger with 90 Pace, 86 Shooting, 87 Passing and 91 Dribbling, which already puts her among the strongest young attackers in Ultimate Team before any performance upgrade is considered.

Rio Ngumoha sits just behind her at 89. The Liverpool winger has 93 Pace and 88 Dribbling on his live card, and EA specifically chose him as the headline player for the Future Stars announcement after his popularity as an Academy option in FC 26.

Myles Lewis-Skelly is a CDM in Future Stars Team 1

One detail worth checking before buying is Myles Lewis-Skelly’s position. The live EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 card is an 88-rated CDM with LB and CM as alternate positions, not an 88-rated LB as some early lists reported.

His 80 Pace, 84 Passing, 86 Dribbling, 85 Defending and 88 Physical make him much more of a central all-rounder than a pure full-back. He also falls into EA’s defender and goalkeeper upgrade group because CDM uses the clean-sheet thresholds for this promo.

Julian Hall is 85 OVR, not 87

Julian Hall’s released EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 item is an 85-rated ST for New York Red Bulls. His live card has 89 Pace, 83 Shooting and 86 Physical, with LM and LW as alternate positions.

Hall is still an interesting live card because MLS players use the shorter Americas upgrade path. He needs fewer starts and fewer goals plus assists than players in most European leagues to reach the same upgrade milestones.

Which EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 cards can upgrade?

Every EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 live item is part of the domestic league upgrade system. Tracking began on October 9, with EA scheduling the actual upgrades for February 3.

Most attackers and midfielders can earn +1 OVR for four starts, another +1 up to 87 for eight starts, a PlayStyle+ after seven combined goals and assists, and 5-star Weak Foot after 10. Defenders, CDMs and goalkeepers use clean sheets for the performance milestones instead.

Players in MLS, Liga MX, the NWSL and Argentina’s Liga Profesional have lower thresholds. That affects Gilberto Mora and Julian Hall in Team 1, making their live paths quicker than the standard route. The full threshold table is worth checking separately once you are comparing live cards, because the Americas path is much shorter than the standard one.

Best-looking cards in Future Stars Team 1

On raw released stats, Vicky López, Rio Ngumoha and Lewis-Skelly are the obvious headline cards. Mika Godts also brings an 88-rated LW option with strong dribbling, while Jacobo Ramón looks useful if you want a tall centre-back who already starts with 89 Defending.

The lower-rated end of EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 is more interesting than the OVR numbers suggest because several cards have room to improve. Julian Hall has the easier MLS upgrade thresholds, Josh King offers a creative CAM profile, and Laura Blindkilde Brown starts with 86 Defending and a 5-star Weak Foot.

When did Future Stars Team 1 release?

EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 released on October 9, 2026. EA’s Future Stars campaign runs across two weeks, with Week 2 bringing the PlayStyle+ Lab and the first UEFA Star Performers eligible for PlayStyle+ upgrades from October 17.

Current Ultimate Team tracking places Team 1 in the first week of the promo before the next content refresh. If you are buying cards from the market, remember that their value can move quickly while packs are still supplying new copies.

Future Stars Team 1 and Holographic cards

If a database says there are 30 EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 items, it may be counting standard and Holographic versions separately. The actual Team 1 squad contains 15 unique players.

That is useful when checking a checklist because you are not missing another hidden set of 15 names. Holographic cards are alternate item versions, while the Team 1 player pool itself remains the 15 listed above.

EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 quick answer

EA FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 contains 15 players, led by 90 Vicky López, 89 Rio Ngumoha, 88 Myles Lewis-Skelly and 88 Mika Godts. The released squad also includes Jacobo Ramón, Gilberto Mora, Yoan Bonny, Tom Bischof, Lewis Hall, Lily Yohannes, Laura Blindkilde Brown, Robin Risser, Josh King, Julian Hall and Jon Martín.

The cards are live items, with domestic league tracking already underway and upgrades scheduled for February 3. Judge them on playing time and real-world opportunity as well as current stats, because some of the best value may come from players with the clearest route to hitting all four upgrade milestones.
