Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer is the Rogue Run interactable used to add a random Cursed Relic to your current run. The Relic remains active for the rest of that attempt and adds its tier value to your Relic meter, which is why the tablet matters for Season 6 progression. Reaching higher Relic Tiers now unlocks stronger pedestal options including Golden Armor, Ultra weapon rarity and Pack-a-Punch IV.
Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer is especially important when you are chasing a challenge that explicitly asks for rounds at Relic Tier I or Tier III. Instead of treating the tablet as a pure difficulty toggle, use it as a progression tool. Every activation can make the run harder, but it can also push the meter toward the tier required for a Calling Card, GobbleGum milestone or one of the new Season 6 upgrade pools.
Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer: what happens when you activate it
Interact with the Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer and the game selects a random Cursed Relic. That Relic applies its negative effect to the run and stays active. The tablet is not a free buff machine. Cursed Relics can remove or restrict core systems, increase enemy pressure, randomise equipment or otherwise change how you need to play.
The upside is tier progress. Grim Relics provide one third of a tier, Sinister Relics provide two thirds, and Wicked Relics provide one whole tier. Because the Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer result is random, one activation can move the meter a small amount or a much larger amount. Always read the newly applied effect before blindly activating another tablet.

How the Curse Inducer reaches Relic Tier III
There is no single fixed number of Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer uses that always produces Tier III because different Relic severities add different values. Three Wicked results would be enough by themselves, while a run receiving mostly Grim Relics needs many more activations. Mixed combinations sit between those extremes.
For a Tier III challenge, keep an eye on the meter rather than counting tablets. Once the run reaches Tier III, Pack-a-Punch IV enters the expanded reward path and your qualifying round counter can begin for the Hardcore Calling Cards. Further Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer activations add difficulty but do not create a higher Season 6 pedestal tier beyond Tier III.
When to activate the Curse Inducer
If your target is five rounds at Tier I, activate the Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer early enough to reach Tier I with at least five complete rounds still ahead of you. For a 15-round Tier III objective, you need a much larger safety margin. Waiting until the run is already deep can leave you with the correct tier but not enough survivable rounds to finish the reward condition.
A sensible route is to establish a functioning weapon, armor and perk base first, then begin adding Relics before enemy pressure gets extreme. That gives you time to adapt to each new restriction. If an activation disables or disrupts a system your build depends on, change the build before using the Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer again.
How to handle bad Cursed Relic rolls
Some Relics are far more disruptive than others. Effects can include disabled Ammo Crates, limited Perks, exploding zombies, double enemy damage, disabled Scorestreaks, randomised wall buys or enemies that only take critical damage. A bad Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer roll is not automatically a failed run, but it can make the next activation much riskier.
Read the active Relics and stop when you have reached the tier you actually need. Players often ruin a strong run by continuing to press the tablet after Tier III just because it is available. Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer is most useful when every activation serves a target, such as reaching Tier I for Golden Armor or Tier III for Pack-a-Punch IV and the Hardcore reward counter.
Curse Inducer and permanent Relic unlocks
Rogue Run can apply Cursed Relics through the Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer even if your immediate goal is not to collect every Relic through Cursed Mode. The broader Relic collection still matters for understanding the effects and for Cursed Mode progression, but the Rogue Run tablet exists so the current run can gain random restrictions and tier value directly.
That distinction matters when a challenge says Relic Tier rather than a named Relic. You are trying to build enough active tier value, not complete a separate Relic side quest inside Rogue Run. Use the Black Ops 7 Curse Inducer, watch the meter, survive the required rounds and take advantage of the stronger pedestal options that Season 6 adds at each tier.
