Brawl Stars Vince Abilities: Attack, Super, Gadgets and Star Powers

Brawl Stars Vince abilities

Brawl Stars Vince abilities revolve around coffee, Caterpillars and Moths. Vince is a Mythic Damage Dealer whose trait periodically spawns Caterpillars nearby; hitting them with coffee or walking over them converts them into Moths for his collection.

The collection matters because Vince loses 50% of it when defeated. One Gadget and one Star Power also interact directly with the Caterpillar-to-Moth loop, making resource management central to his kit.

The defining mechanic behind Brawl Stars Vince abilities is converting Caterpillars into Moths while avoiding unnecessary deaths that cut the collection in half.

Vince Caterpillar trait

The trait is the foundation of Brawl Stars Vince abilities. Caterpillars periodically spawn near Vince, and you can convert them either by hitting them with his coffee attack or walking over them.

That creates a resource loop around positioning. Moving toward a Caterpillar can build the collection quickly, but overextending and dying removes half of what you have gathered.

Espresso Shot main attack

Espresso Shot is the basic damage tool in Brawl Stars Vince abilities. Vince serves a cup of coffee as a projectile, dealing damage and interacting with Caterpillars.

The attack becomes more valuable after Barista Barrage because enemies carrying the Caterpillar debuff take bonus damage from Vince’s main attacks.

Barista Barrage Super

Barista Barrage is the Super in Brawl Stars Vince abilities. Vince fires one projectile that applies a Caterpillar debuff to the target.

Once marked, that opponent takes bonus damage from main attacks. The Super is therefore a setup tool for focused pressure rather than a simple area burst.

Hot Coffee and Metamothosis Gadgets

The two Gadgets give Brawl Stars Vince abilities different uses. Hot Coffee is the direct damage option, throwing an explosive cappuccino that deals area damage.

Metamothosis is the resource option. It converts nearby Caterpillars into Moths and grants an additional Moth for each one collected, accelerating the collection mechanic when several are close.

Come to Papa and Bug Bandage

Come to Papa makes the resource side of Brawl Stars Vince abilities easier by causing nearby Caterpillars to crawl toward Vince.

Bug Bandage adds sustain instead: every Caterpillar turned into a Moth heals Vince for 1,200, giving conversions a defensive use as well as building the collection.

Vince and Brawloween

Vince fits the spooky update thematically through his Creepy Cafe, bugs and moths, while the Brawl Stars Vince abilities themselves remain part of his permanent Brawler kit.

Our Brawl Stars Brawloween 2026 guide covers the temporary Gus event, Loony, puzzles, bosses and coffin rewards separately.

Prestige titles

Supercell also lists two Prestige titles beside Brawl Stars Vince abilities: Creepy at Prestige 1 and Buggin’ Out at Prestige 3.

Those are cosmetic progression rewards and do not change the attack, Super, Gadget or Star Power effects.

Official Vince details

Supercell’s official release notes are the first-party source for the full Brawl Stars Vince abilities kit.

The play pattern is clear from the published mechanics: collect Moths, avoid throwing the collection away with deaths, mark priority targets with the Super and choose between direct damage, faster conversion or healing support.

What Vince loses when defeated

Vince losing half of his Moth collection on defeat gives the resource mechanic an obvious risk-reward element. Building a large collection can strengthen the value of his Caterpillar tools, but reckless positioning can erase a substantial part of that progress in one death.
