Lost Ark Soulfist Skills: New and Replaced Abilities Explained

Lost Ark Soulfist Skills

Lost Ark Soulfist Skills have been reworked across both martial and Force sides of the kit, with new resource behaviour attached to many existing attacks and at least one direct skill replacement confirmed in the western Dimensions Unbound notes. The result is a class where old button names can hide very different jobs, so checking the new tooltip matters even when the animation still looks familiar.

Lost Ark Soulfist Skills also feed a redesigned Spirit economy. Several martial abilities no longer consume Spirit and instead restore it, while Force skills retain or adjust their Spirit costs. That creates a clearer relationship between generating the resource through active combat and then spending it on the class’s ranged or energy-based tools.

Lost Ark Soulfist Skills now generate Spirit directly

Lost Ark Soulfist Skills such as Flash Step, Shadowbreaker, Bolting Crash, Palm Burst, Celestial Palm, Pulverizing Palm, Lightning Palm, Illusion Strike and Merciless Pummel are all touched by the September resource changes. Multiple martial skills explicitly recover Spirit on hit or use, and several no longer consume Spirit at all.

That changes the order in which abilities make sense. A martial action can now be part of the setup for the next Force sequence rather than something competing for the same resource pool. The exact amount differs by skill, so the new tooltips are worth reading instead of assuming every generator is interchangeable.

Lost Ark Soulfist Skills: yin Yang Palm replaces Magnetic Palm

Lost Ark Soulfist Skills gain Yin Yang Palm as a new ability, with the patch notes explicitly stating that Magnetic Palm has been removed and Yin Yang Palm added in its place. A replacement this direct is easy to miss if you load an old preset and immediately start looking for a missing icon rather than checking the updated skill list.

The change is part of the broader class redesign rather than an isolated rename. Surrounding skills receive new stagger, destruction and Spirit interactions, so Yin Yang Palm enters a kit whose internal resource logic has already shifted. Treat it as part of the new rotation rather than forcing it into the exact role Magnetic Palm occupied before the rework.

Utility moved between existing abilities

Lost Ark Soulfist Skills also redistribute party and defensive utility. Flash Step can provide a party attack-power increase through one of its revised tripod effects, while Pulverizing Palm gains a party attack-power effect on hit in another updated tripod. Push Immunity, Destruction and Stagger properties have moved or changed on several buttons.

This matters in raids because a skill is not judged only by personal damage. If the old preset was chosen partly to supply a synergy, counter, destruction check or stagger contribution, verify which updated ability now carries that job. The September notes are detailed enough that a seemingly small tripod swap can alter both damage and party function.

Force skills have new costs and damage tuning

Lost Ark Soulfist Skills on the Force side also change. Energy Bullet’s Spirit cost is reduced and its damage is heavily retuned, Force Orb costs less Spirit but has a longer cooldown and stronger damage/stagger options, while Tempest Blast and Energy Blast receive lower Spirit costs and multiple tripod adjustments. These numbers reinforce the new generator-and-spender relationship rather than leaving the old resource model intact.

The practical response is to rebuild from the current live tooltips and then test the complete loop. Look at how quickly martial skills refill Spirit, how expensive the chosen Force attacks are and which utility effects your party still needs. The new Soulfist can look familiar at a glance, but the skills now interact differently enough that a pre-patch rotation should be treated as a reference point, not a finished answer.

Skill acquisition levels also move for several abilities, including Flash Step, Shadowbreaker, Illusion Strike, Merciless Pummel and Energy Blast. A levelling or training-room setup from an older patch can therefore look strange even before endgame tripods and Ark systems are considered.
