Maharaka Postcards are earned by completing the daily Maharaka event missions tied to three minigames on the Maharaka Play Map. They are the main currency for the returning event, which means the efficient route is not to wander around hoping Postcards drop randomly from every activity but to follow the daily mission structure Amazon describes in the Dimensions Unbound notes.
Maharaka Postcards can be spent directly in the Maharaka event shop or traded into Limited Maharaka Postcards for another layer of rewards. The event runs until January 20, 2027, so the currency has a long earning window, but it is still worth understanding the conversion before spending because normal and Limited Postcards do not serve exactly the same purpose.
Maharaka Postcards come from three daily minigames

Maharaka Postcards are tied to the daily objective of playing three minigames. Open the Maharaka Play Map beside the minimap, travel to the event area and complete the required activities until the daily mission is satisfied. The official notes say minigames can be replayed, but the defined Postcard mission is built around completing three each day.
That wording is useful if you are trying to be efficient. You do not need to assume a specific minigame must be farmed for hours, and there is no published requirement to win every activity. Focus on the event mission, collect its currency and then decide whether you want to stay for additional runs.
Where to spend Maharaka Postcards
Maharaka Postcards are accepted at the Maharaka event shop for a range of items. Amazon does not list the complete live inventory and every cost in the release notes, so check the in-game shop before planning a precise shopping list around numbers copied from an older version of Maharaka. The important confirmed mechanic is that the normal Postcard is the base spending currency.
If you have a limited amount, prioritise rewards that matter to the character you are actually progressing rather than buying a little of everything. The September patch already offers several separate catch-up events, so Maharaka can fill gaps instead of duplicating materials your selected Jump-Up or Rapid Growth character has in abundance.
Limited Maharaka Postcards use the same base currency
Maharaka Postcards can also be traded for Limited Maharaka Postcards. Those unlock additional rewards, effectively turning the event into a two-stage shop decision. Converting is not automatically better than spending the base currency, because the right choice depends on what is available in each section of the live shop.
Check both reward pools before exchanging a large stack. A limited currency sounds more valuable by name, but the only useful definition is what it can actually buy for your account. The event interface shows the current costs and purchase limits directly, which matters if the shop changes during its long run.
How long you have to earn the currency
Maharaka Postcards remain relevant until Maharaka Returns ends on January 20, 2027. That gives the event roughly four months of runway from its September 16 launch, so a regular daily routine will build currency steadily without requiring every session to revolve around the beach minigames.
The easiest habit is to pair Maharaka with the rest of your daily checklist. Complete three minigames, claim the mission, review the shop and move on. Treating Maharaka Postcards as a small recurring currency stream is far less painful than remembering the event only when the end date is approaching and trying to catch up all at once.
Nothing in the September notes suggests the normal Postcards expire before the event itself, but spending well before the final maintenance is still sensible. Event shops disappear, and holding a perfect stack of unused currency has no value once the associated exchange is gone.
The value of Maharaka Postcards comes from choosing between direct event-shop spending and the Limited Postcard conversion instead of treating every currency stack the same way. The September 16 live version is the baseline here, so older pre-patch routes or numbers should be checked against the current in-game interface before spending materials or locking an account-limited choice.
