Switch Between Seasons from the Fallout 76 Seasons interface, where the current Season and one Legacy Season sit alongside each other.
You do not have to permanently choose one track. Bethesda confirms players can progress both at the same time and spend the shared Ticket pool wherever they prefer.

How to Switch Between Seasons
To Switch Between Seasons, open the Seasons menu and move between the current Season reward pages and the Legacy Season tab or panel. Select Armor Ace when you want to inspect returning rewards, then return to Season 26 for the current catalogue.
The interface treats them as parallel reward tracks rather than a one-time selection that locks the other Season.
Do you lose progress when switching?
No. Previously claimed rewards remain claimed and your Ticket balance is shared across both tracks.
Switching pages does not reset SCORE progress, Challenges or the state of the current season.
Why the Ticket balance stays the same
Bethesda did not create a new Legacy currency. Both tabs draw from the same Tickets earned through Season progression.
This is why the number visible before switching should be treated as one budget, not separate current and Legacy balances.
Current versus Legacy unlock rules
The current Season keeps its normal reward unlock flow. Legacy Seasons require linear claiming, so the order of purchases can look different after switching tabs.
Veteran rewards already owned are marked claimed, shortening the linear path for some accounts.
Can you ignore the Legacy Season?
Yes. Nothing in Bethesda’s explanation requires players to spend Tickets on Armor Ace. You can use the full pool on Season 26 if the current rewards matter more to you.
Likewise, a returning player can prioritise an old reward without abandoning current progression.
When the Legacy tab changes
Armor Ace lasts for the current season, then Bethesda plans to rotate another past season in future updates. Season 10 is announced for the Winter update, so the legacy side of the interface will change over time.
Switching does not create a second SCORE track
SCORE still advances Season progression normally. The Legacy page is another reward destination, not a duplicate set of SCORE levels.
That is why learning to Switch Between Seasons in Fallout 76 is mostly about reward management rather than levelling two independent passes.
Switch Between Seasons without changing Challenge progress
Switch Between Seasons only changes which reward track you are viewing and spending Tickets on. Daily and Weekly Challenges do not become a second independent set just because Armor Ace is open beside Season 26.
Your SCORE progression continues normally while the shared Ticket balance follows you between both pages.
Why you may switch often
Players can Switch Between Seasons whenever they want to compare costs or claim an unlocked reward. There is no need to finish Armor Ace before returning to Beware the Blood Moon, and no permanent selection screen that locks the other track.
That flexibility is useful because Legacy rewards unlock linearly while the current Season keeps its normal claim flow.
Switch Between Seasons before large purchases
Switch Between Seasons before spending a large Ticket balance if both pages contain rewards you want. Comparing the next few unlocks on Armor Ace with the current Season can prevent an impulse purchase from blocking a more important reward on the other track.
Because the balance is shared, checking both pages first is the closest thing the system has to a budgeting tool.
