The Black Ops 7 Season 6 Battle Pass launches on September 17 with more than 100 rewards, two free base weapons and Blackjack as the headline Operator.
For Black Ops 7 Season 6 Battle Pass, the useful decision is what you can earn for free, what sits behind the paid track, and which rewards are actually worth prioritising once Season 6 starts.

Black Ops 7 Season 6 Battle Pass price, free VMP and TR51 Para unlock pages, instant rewards and BlackCell differences explained.
Black Ops 7 Season 6 Battle Pass: When Season 6 starts
Season 6 goes live on September 17 at 9:00 a.m. PT, which is 12:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. BST. Black Ops 7 Season 6 Battle Pass launches with the seasonal update across Black Ops 7 and Warzone, so there is no separate weapon release window for the VMP or TR51 Para.
The standard premium pass costs 1,100 COD Points. Black Ops 7 Season 6 Battle Pass Bundle costs 2,400 COD Points and includes 20 Battle Pass Tokens. Activision says the pass contains up to 1,100 COD Points across its reward pages, alongside free and premium items.
The two free Season 6 weapons
| Weapon | Class | Unlock |
|---|---|---|
| VMP | SMG | Page 3 completion reward |
| TR51 Para | Assault Rifle | Page 6 completion reward |
What you get immediately after buying the pass
Purchasing the premium track opens the Instant Rewards page. That page includes a 10% Battle Pass XP boost, the Blackjack Operator skin, the Double Down Legendary Gremlin blueprint, the Steeplechase emote and the Wild Ace large decal.
The important distinction is that the new base weapons are not locked behind the paid track. Players can earn both the VMP and TR51 Para from the free progression path, so spending COD Points is about the wider reward pool rather than access to the new guns.
Black Ops 7 Season 6 Battle Pass: Pages worth targeting first
If your priority is gameplay unlocks, Page 3 is the first meaningful target because that is where the VMP sits. Page 6 then unlocks the TR51 Para. Players who want the new weapon blueprints can keep pushing later pages, including Smoke Point for the TR51 Para on Page 12 and Tooth Ache for the VMP on Page 15.
That gives the opening week a sensible route: secure both base weapons first, start levelling them while playing normally, then decide whether the later cosmetic and blueprint pages are worth prioritising.
Battle Pass or BlackCell?
BlackCell is a separate premium upgrade rather than a requirement for the standard pass. Season 6 BlackCell adds Revenant, an Aeternum AN-94 Mastercraft, 1,100 COD Points, extra daily challenges and a separate set of skins and camos.
If that is the part you care about, our Season 6 BlackCell guide breaks down those rewards separately instead of mixing them into the normal Battle Pass list.
What completion actually adds beyond the two weapons
The VMP and TR51 Para are the first gameplay priorities, but finishing the pass has its own reward set. Full completion gives the Zenith Ultra skin for Blackjack, the Absortio FG42 blueprint, 200 COD Points, the Ultimate Reward animated Calling Card, the Finale animated Emblem and one Perkaholic Ultra GobbleGum. Those are completion rewards, so they sit beyond simply reaching Page 3 or Page 6 for the new guns.
There are also smaller functional rewards scattered through the pages. Season 6 includes equipment skins, reticles, Double XP items, Restore Tokens and GobbleGums alongside the usual cosmetics. The premium pass therefore makes the most sense if you expect to move through a large part of it. If all you want is the two new base weapons, both are on the free path and you do not need to buy the premium track.
Useful Battle Pass pages to remember
Page 1 contains the Crackin’ reticle, Page 5 has the Shredding Swipe Finishing Move, Page 9 contains the Cold Contagion C4 skin, and Pages 11 and 14 include additional reticles. Page 14 also has the Lost Time EMP Grenade skin. These are not essential for progression, but they are the kind of rewards that are easy to miss when you are spending Tokens purely to reach the next weapon page.
Black Ops 7 Season 6 Battle Pass also returns up to 1,100 COD Points across its rewards. That does not mean every player automatically gets the full amount on purchase. You need to progress far enough to claim the COD Point rewards, so factor that into whether you are treating the pass as a season-long grind or simply using the free pages for weapon unlocks.
