The Honkai Star Rail 4.6 Livestream is a simultaneous global broadcast, so everyone gets the same reveal at the same moment rather than a regional rollout. If you are watching from the UK, the useful time is lunchtime: 12:30 p.m. BST on Sunday, September 20.
The stream is officially called Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise. It should provide the proper Version 4.6 overview rather than leaving players to piece together character, banner and event information from pre-stream leaks.
Where to watch the Version 4.6 Special Program
The easiest place to watch the Honkai Star Rail 4.6 Livestream is the official Honkai: Star Rail YouTube livestream. HoYoverse is also broadcasting through the official Honkai: Star Rail Twitch channel.
YouTube is the better option if you expect to arrive late or want to pause and rewind. Twitch is useful if you prefer the live chat atmosphere. Either stream should carry the same Special Program content.
What will be shown?
The Honkai Star Rail 4.6 Livestream is expected to cover the new Version 4.6 character content, Warp banners, story additions, events and the update’s headline systems. Pearl is currently the character most strongly associated with the 4.6 reveal, while the returning character lineup still needs official confirmation.
That distinction is important before September 20. Community reports may circulate rerun names, but the Special Program is the point where the banner schedule becomes something worth treating as final.
Will there be livestream codes?
Yes, the Honkai Star Rail 4.6 Livestream should include the usual limited-time Special Program redemption codes. These broadcasts normally reveal several codes during the stream, with Stellar Jade as the main reward.
The codes are time-sensitive, so redeem them when they appear rather than assuming they will last until the Version 4.6 update. Our dedicated 4.6 livestream codes page is already prepared so the live strings can be added as soon as HoYoverse shows them.
What time should you arrive?
If you want the complete Honkai Star Rail 4.6 Livestream, open the stream a few minutes before your local start time. The presentation itself is more useful than a recap if you care about exact banner phases, event timing or the wording around a new system.
For code hunters, you do not need to catch the first second, but waiting until hours later creates unnecessary expiry risk. Keeping the official redemption page or game client ready makes the process quicker once each code appears.
When is Version 4.6 expected to release?
The Honkai Star Rail 4.6 Livestream comes before the update itself. HoYoverse has officially scheduled the Special Program for September 20; the exact Version 4.6 maintenance and release notice should be treated separately when the company publishes it.
That matters because the Special Program date is confirmed, while circulating September 27/28 release estimates are based on the expected version cadence rather than the maintenance notice. Use the stream for the reveal and wait for HoYoverse’s update announcement for the final server downtime.
What should you check after the stream?
- Redeem every limited-time Special Program code.
- Confirm the new and returning five-star banner phases.
- Check whether any announced events have time-gated rewards.
- Note new Light Cones and character materials before prefarming.
- Watch for the official Version 4.6 maintenance notice.
The most useful thing about the Honkai Star Rail 4.6 Livestream being announced this early is that the pages can be indexed before the rush. On September 20, the code and banner guides can move from pre-stream status to confirmed information as soon as HoYoverse reveals it.
