BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards include Fix It Gear Head Thrall for Heroes of the Storm and a 15-day co-op XP boost for StarCraft II, with both available to claim through the Battle.net Shop until September 28. No BlizzCon Digital Bundle purchase is required for either of these two promotional rewards.
Fix It Gear Head Thrall
The Heroes of the Storm reward is Fix It Gear Head Thrall, giving Thrall a BlizzCon-themed mechanical look for the Nexus.
This is one of the two dedicated BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards in Blizzard’s shop promotion, rather than a paid item hidden inside the BlizzCon Ultimate Collection. If you play Heroes of the Storm, claim it before the September 28 deadline even if Thrall is not currently your main hero.
StarCraft II 15-day co-op XP boost
StarCraft II players can claim a 15-day co-op XP boost designed to accelerate Commander progression.
The boost is the second Battle.net Shop giveaway and is also available until September 28. Blizzard specifically describes it as a co-op XP boost, so it is not a general account-wide StarCraft experience multiplier for every mode.

How to claim the free rewards
BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards are claimed through Battle.net rather than through a watch-time tracker. Sign in with the account you use for the relevant game and open the Battle.net Shop promotion for the free BlizzCon rewards. Claim each available item to that account before the offer ends.
BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards do not require the $29.99 game bundles or the $49.99 Ultimate Collection. Blizzard lists them separately as free celebration items.
When do the free rewards expire?
BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards remain claimable through September 28, 2026.
That gives this offer a much longer window than many of the BlizzCon Twitch Drops. You do not need to watch the September 13 closing-day broadcast to receive Fix It Gear Head Thrall or the 15-day StarCraft II boost.
The 15-day boost is not the Twitch Drop
BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards include the 15-day StarCraft II shop boost, but there are two different StarCraft II XP promotions around BlizzCon and they are easy to mix up.
The Battle.net Shop reward covered here is a 15-day co-op XP boost available through September 28. Separately, Blizzard’s BlizzCon viewership guide lists a 10-day XP boost for watching one hour of eligible StarCraft Classic Cup content on Twitch during September 12–13.
BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards therefore include the 15-day shop claim; the 10-day reward comes from viewing and follows a different deadline and requirement.
Is the Heroes reward the Classic Cup drop?
No. BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards include the Thrall cosmetic, while Heroes of the Storm also had a separate BlizzCon viewership reward: a seven-day boost for watching one hour of the Classic Cup in the Heroes category on Twitch on September 12.
Fix It Gear Head Thrall is the free Battle.net Shop item available through September 28. The skin and the seven-day boost are separate promotions.
Do you need a BlizzCon ticket?
No. Blizzard explicitly says the two shop rewards are free and require no BlizzCon Digital Bundle purchase.
A BlizzCon Pass includes other digital items when correctly linked to Battle.net, but that ticket system is not the requirement for these two BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards.
What about the paid BlizzCon bundles?
Blizzard also sells separate digital bundles for World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo IV, Diablo Immortal and Hearthstone, plus an Ultimate Collection containing the combined package and extra items.
Those paid bundles also remain available through September 28, but do not confuse their cosmetics with the two free shop rewards. Paying for Lich Queen Mei, the Diablo IV mount bundle or another digital package is not necessary to claim Thrall or the StarCraft boost.
What should you claim first?
If both games are attached to your Battle.net ecosystem, claim both rewards now while the promotion is easy to find. A late-September deadline feels generous until it quietly passes.
BlizzCon 2026 Free Rewards are unusually straightforward: Fix It Gear Head Thrall for Heroes of the Storm and a 15-day StarCraft II co-op XP boost, both free through September 28. The only real mistake is assuming they are Twitch Drops and waiting for watch progress that these particular rewards do not need.
Because the shop promotion lasts until September 28, these two freebies also have a much longer shelf life than today’s Overwatch World Cup skins. That makes this page worth keeping live after BlizzCon ends rather than treating it as a September 13-only post.
