PokeBalls at the ready trainers! As we enter the month of August, trainers are in for a treat with Spotlight Hours, and kicking off the month of August, we have the Pokemon Go Hisuian Voltorb Spotlight Hour.

Entering the limelight, Hisuian Voltorb is set to cause a spark as it takes the Spotlight for the hour.

Let’s take a look at who Hisuian Voltorb is, and the details for the first Spotlight Hour of the month.

Who is Hisuian Voltorb?

Hisuian Voltorb is an electrical Pokemon, boasting a glossy appearance, and appearing very similar to the PokeBalls of the Hisui region with its wood-grain-like surface, and a hole on the top of its head.

Known as a friendly, but highly excitable Pokemon, it discharges an electrical current stored, followed by a rather uproarious laugh. Hisuian Voltorb is quickly becoming a firm favorite among trainers.

Hisuian Voltorb has five different moves that it can learn in Pokemon GO. Two Fast Moves: Charge Beam and Tackle, and three Charge Moves: Thunderbolt, Energy Ball, and Swift giving Hisuian Voltorb three different elemental types between all potential moves.

The Pokemon Go Hisuian Voltorb Spotlight hour is due to take place on August 2, 2022, 6-7 pm local time, giving trainers one hour to take full advantage and catch as many Hisuian Voltorb as possible.

Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation of Hisuian Voltorb entering the game as a Shiny Pokemon just yet, trainers will however earn twice the stardust when catching it during the Hisuian Voltorb Spotlight Hour. And with the increased spawn rate, there is the potential for a 4* to appear too!
