Warzone Grind for Royalty arrives with Season 1 and gives players challenges based on their own stats. The two camo rewards for the first season are Gold Excellence and Gold Mosaic. Rather than asking everybody to hit the same fixed number, this system is designed to give you a personal goal to beat.
Activision revealed the feature on November 2 ahead of the November 6 launch. Rather than giving everyone the same elimination count or placement target, Royalty challenges are based on your own performance history. That difference matters if you’re looking at another player’s requirements and wondering why yours do not match.
How Warzone Grind for Royalty works
Warzone Grind for Royalty takes personal player stats into account to generate challenges. Activision describes the aim as improving on your previous performances and earning rewards for setting new records. A universal list of required numbers would defeat the purpose of these personalised objectives.
Activision hasn’t published a universal challenge chart, because the targets are individual. Check your own Royalty progress after launch instead of copying somebody else’s elimination or placement requirement. That’s the practical starting point for Warzone Grind for Royalty.
The challenges also reset every season, giving players another opportunity to improve their previous results. Activision has promised two new weapon camos per season. Season 1 begins with the Gold Excellence and Gold Mosaic rewards.

Gold Excellence and Gold Mosaic rewards
The Warzone Grind for Royalty rewards are Gold Excellence and Gold Mosaic. Activision calls the pair one static camo and one animated camo, but the November 2 text doesn’t explicitly match either name to a finish. Look at the live reward preview to see which is animated.
Both rewards are weapon cosmetics, not new weapons or blueprints. They also should not be confused with Gold, Platinum, Harmonic Break and Divergence, the Completionist camos involved in the separate Modern Warfare 4 weapon progression system.
When Season 1 is live, find the Royalty challenge entry in the Warzone interface and read the goal displayed for your own account. Compare the active requirement with your results, then follow the game’s progress counter for your reward. The publisher has not provided a step-by-step final menu route in the pre-launch announcement.
Are Royalty challenges the same for everyone?
No. Warzone Grind for Royalty is built around individual performance data, not one universal target. Two players with different histories should not assume they will see identical challenges. Avoid relying on an online screenshot that claims a particular count applies to all accounts.
The publisher hasn’t explained the formula for calculating every personalised target. What is confirmed is that Warzone Grind for Royalty uses your player stats and refreshes each season. A screenshot of someone else’s objective isn’t reliable evidence of what yours will be.
Does Warzone Grind for Royalty reset each season?
Yes. Activision states Royalty challenges reset every season so that players can push their own records again. This is one of the feature’s major differences from the three named Warzone Mastery camos, which use fixed unlock requirements instead of personal stat targets.
A seasonal reset should not be mistaken for an officially published expiry minute for every individual objective. Check the active challenge page for deadlines and reward-claim instructions once Season 1 is available. The initial roadmap does not specify a separate claim timer.
When does Warzone Grind for Royalty launch?
Warzone Season 1 launches globally at midnight Eastern Time on Friday, November 6, 2026. That is 5:00 AM GMT in Britain, 6:00 AM CET in central Europe and 2:00 PM JST in Japan. In Pacific Time, launch is Thursday, November 5 at 9:00 PM.
Warzone itself is free to play. Activision announced these camo rewards as part of the new challenge system, but did not publish a separate purchase requirement, event pass fee or premium reward tier for the Royalty pair. Do not assume a purchase is needed from an unverified third-party claim.
How Royalty differs from Warzone Mastery camos
Warzone Grind for Royalty rewards improvement against personalised stats and resets its challenges each season. Warzone Mastery uses predetermined milestones instead: Parallax asks for five kills in a match 300 times, Damascus Reforged requires two kills without plating 200 times, and Empyros calls for 75 top-five finishes with at least six kills.
The three Mastery rewards unlock in sequence after earlier camo prerequisites. Royalty is presented as a separate system, so keep the progress tracks distinct when planning your Season 1 rewards.
Warzone Grind for Royalty is worth checking when Season 1 starts: your own challenge screen will show what you must beat to earn Gold Excellence and Gold Mosaic. The main difference from Mastery camos is simple: Royalty measures you against your previous results, not a fixed shared target.
