Warzone Damascus Reforged camo is the second Warzone Mastery reward in Modern Warfare 4 Season 1. To unlock it, Activision says players must complete the Parallax challenge and then get two kills without plating, 200 times. The plating restriction makes this different from a regular elimination challenge.
Getting 400 kills across random matches won’t finish this challenge. What counts is repeatedly landing two kills without plating, for a total of 200 successful sequences. If you’ve just unlocked Parallax, here’s what you need to do next.
How to unlock the Warzone Damascus Reforged camo
The Warzone Damascus Reforged camo is a Mastery 2 reward, which means an earlier progression gate must be cleared. You cannot skip straight to its challenge simply because you have already fought plenty of matches. The Warzone Mastery path first requires Divergence Completionist camo, followed by the Parallax Mastery 1 objective.
- Complete Military, Special and Completionist camo progression until you unlock Divergence.
- Unlock Warzone Parallax by earning at least five kills in a match across 300 qualifying matches.
- Once Mastery 2 is accessible, earn two kills without plating and repeat that feat 200 times.
- Finish the Mastery 2 objective to unlock Damascus Reforged and access the next mastery tier.
Activision says the Warzone Mastery grind can use any eligible weapon or a combination of weapons. The earlier Divergence progression is separate from the actual two-kill challenge. It is worth checking that Mastery 2 is unlocked before changing your playstyle specifically for the Warzone Damascus Reforged camo.

What does two kills without plating mean?
For the Warzone Damascus Reforged camo, the instruction is brief: earn two kills without plating 200 times. Putting armour plates on between those kills goes against the requirement. It’s a challenge about the order of your actions, not just your final match kill count.
Activision hasn’t explained whether four consecutive kills without plating award one point or more, or how every elimination type is handled. Until the update is live, don’t bank on a longer streak counting several times. Check the challenge counter after a successful two-kill run.
Likewise, finishing with several eliminations does not automatically meet the requirement if armor plates were applied between those eliminations. The announced rule concerns a specific action and timing, not merely whether you were carrying spare plates in your inventory.
Can you get Damascus Reforged before Parallax?
No. The developer’s Mastery sequence is explicit: Parallax comes first, Warzone Damascus Reforged camo comes second and Empyros comes third. Parallax requires five kills in a match on 300 occasions, after the prerequisite Divergence camo track. Only after you complete that first Warzone mastery challenge does Mastery 2 open.
Empyros is similarly gated behind Damascus Reforged. Its challenge is 75 matches with a top-five finish and at least six kills in that same match. These objectives are separate. Working towards a later reward does not erase the earlier requirements listed by Activision.
Which weapons and modes count for Warzone Damascus Reforged camo?
Modern Warfare 4 weapons become part of Warzone when Season 1 launches on Friday, 6 November 2026 at 5:00 AM GMT, midnight Eastern, and 9:00 PM Pacific on Thursday. Activision describes the new Warzone Mastery reward path as compatible with any eligible weapon or combination of weapons, but its pre-launch briefing does not identify every playlist that grants credit.
The developer also confirmed that older Legacy Weapons remain accessible but do not support the new Modern Warfare 4 mastery camo system. If you are chasing the Warzone Damascus Reforged camo, pay attention to the weapon category shown on the Mastery screen rather than assuming an older blueprint counts.
How to check your progress after launch
Once the update is live, open the active Warzone camo challenge and read its exact description and progress counter. Check that Parallax is completed first. Then watch whether the counter advances after a two-kill attempt with no plating. The roadmap does not specify the final menu path, so a pre-launch guide cannot accurately list button presses or claim a particular mode guarantees credit.
For Warzone Damascus Reforged camo, the route is clear: finish Parallax and then complete 200 two-kill sequences without plating. There’s no published magic playlist or shortcut. Use the live challenge counter to confirm which attempts count.
