Warzone Rally Point: 20 Players, Rules, Rewards and Launch Time

Warzone Rally Point is a 20-player mode on Zodiac where there is no closing gas circle and you can keep coming back after being eliminated. It is designed for exploring the map, practising Warzone systems and meeting other players rather than winning a conventional Battle Royale match.

Warzone Rally Point arrives with Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 on Friday 6 November 2026. Activision has confirmed unlimited Resurgence, drop-in and drop-out play, contracts, special enemy events and rewards. Here is how it all fits together before the mode opens.

Warzone Rally Point rules: no gas circle or final squad

The big difference is simple: there is no shrinking gas circle. You can stay on Zodiac without a final safe zone forcing everyone into the same fight. You can move around the Zodiac map, pick up contracts and approach each encounter in your own time instead of watching a gas timer.

Elimination does not end your experience either. Activision describes an infinite Resurgence system, meaning players can return and carry on rather than heading back to the lobby after a mistake. Activision also says you can drop in and out of the mode, so you are not tied to one traditional Battle Royale round.

That gives you time to learn the movement, weapons and equipment without starting from scratch after every death. It also changes how you should judge a successful run. There is no requirement to be the final surviving team, and a high personal elimination score can be a goal in itself.

How many players can join Warzone Rally Point?

The limit is 20 players. That means 20 individual competitors in the mode, not 20 full squads. Warzone Rally Point uses Zodiac, the same South Korean factory complex hosting other Resurgence playlists, but it is a separate experience from the 44-player competitive modes.

Zodiac has ten named points of interest. Admin, Trackline and Furnace are among its biggest landmarks, with Solar, Old Mines, Dispatch, Depot, Sentinel, Cooling and R&D filling out the map. Learn these names early so you can recognise where your team is heading.

Contracts and unique enemy encounters

Warzone Rally Point gives players something to do beyond finding gunfights. Contracts are part of the mode, alongside Hostile Soldiers and the chance to beat your own elimination record. Activision also lists Hostile Choppers, JLTV Deliveries and Elite Hostile Reinforcements as unique events.

Those activities make Warzone Rally Point a testing ground for gear you might otherwise hesitate to use in a competitive match. Practise deploying killstreaks, switching weapons and moving between buildings or underground passages. You can try different approaches without throwing away a whole Battle Royale run.

One further detail is deliberately described as a rumour in Activision’s roadmap: a purchasable Nuke for squads chasing high elimination totals. The roadmap gives no price or purchase steps, so there is no verified way to buy it yet.

Neutral Grounds and alliances

Warzone Rally Point has Neutral Grounds where players can take a breather and form an alliance with people they meet. Alliances can include up to four players, opening a way to find teammates without leaving the match.

This is especially useful if you join without a regular squad. The idea is to make connections while exploring Zodiac instead of treating every encounter as an immediate fight. The alliance limit is four. Activision has not specified extra rules for leaving or changing alliances.

Warzone Rally Point rewards: blueprint and camos

The mode has three exclusive rewards: one weapon blueprint and two weapon camos. That is an important distinction from the two Grind for Royalty camos listed elsewhere in the seasonal announcement. Those are a separate progression feature.

The roadmap names the rewards but does not list their unlock objectives, so there is no confirmed challenge route to follow yet. The confirmed total is one blueprint plus two camos.

How to get started on Zodiac

A sensible first session is to learn the map and its systems. Drop near a landmark you can recognise, practise with weapons you intend to use in competitive Warzone, then pick up a contract. Move through the underground routes and study how Trackline’s moving trains change travel around the facility.

Warzone Rally Point also offers room to experiment with vehicles, equipment and squad movement. When you find Neutral Grounds, you can look for teammates to join you for contracts or hostile encounters. None of that requires treating the experience like a traditional final-circle match.

Because Zodiac includes moving trains, rooftop access, tunnels and environmental hazards, it is worth learning where you can cross between levels. That map knowledge transfers to the more competitive Zodiac playlists, even though the objectives and player counts differ.

How it compares with Massive and Loaded Resurgence

Do not confuse Warzone Rally Point with Massive Resurgence. Massive takes place on the much larger Hajin map, uses 120 players and has a closing gas circle. It is a competitive match where your squad aims to survive and become the last team standing.

Loaded Resurgence is different again. On Zodiac and Rebirth Island, up to 44 players enter with their chosen loadouts and earn additional perks through eliminations. Both modes use Resurgence countdown mechanics, but they do not share Rally Point’s no-circle structure or neutral alliance areas.

Warzone Rally Point launch time around the world

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 goes live at midnight Eastern on Friday 6 November. That is 5:00 am GMT in the UK, 6:00 am CET, 2:00 pm JST and 4:00 pm AEDT. On the US west coast the launch is Thursday 5 November at 9:00 pm PST.

Activision lists Warzone Rally Point among the Season 1 launch modes. Playlist rotations can change later, so the launch announcement should not be mistaken for a promise that a limited-time mode stays available permanently.
