Warzone Parallax Camo: How to Unlock It in Season 1

Warzone Parallax camo is unlocked by getting at least five kills in a match 300 times, but first you have to finish the Divergence camo challenges. Activision confirmed the requirement ahead of the Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 update on 6 November 2026.

If you’ve been looking at the number 300 and wondering whether one high-kill match can speed things up, it can’t replace the separate matches the challenge asks for. Here’s the unlock order, what actually counts and where Parallax sits in Warzone’s new mastery rewards.

How to unlock Warzone Parallax camo

Parallax is the first of three Warzone Mastery camos. You don’t get access to it straight away. First, finish the Military, Special and Completionist camo progression that leads to Divergence. Activision’s progression guide says that earning Divergence means finishing all 33 Harmonic Break challenges.

  1. Complete the required Military and Special camo challenges.
  2. Work through Completionist camos, including Gold, Platinum and Harmonic Break, to unlock Divergence.
  3. Once Warzone Mastery 1 opens, get five or more kills in a match.
  4. Repeat that result across 300 qualifying matches to earn Parallax.

The Warzone Parallax camo challenge can be completed with any weapon or combination of eligible weapons, according to Activision. You aren’t being asked to play 300 matches with one gun, although unlocking Divergence first still requires working through the wider weapon camo system.

Do you need 1,500 kills for Warzone Parallax camo?

You’ll need at least 1,500 kills across the 300 successful matches if each one ends with exactly five. But that isn’t the same as an ordinary 1,500-kill challenge.

Imagine you get 15 kills in one match. That’s a great result, but it’s still one match where you met the five-kill target, not three separate qualifying matches. Likewise, a four-kill game doesn’t reach the threshold, no matter how many kills you’ve collected in previous games.

That’s why Warzone Parallax camo is a consistency test. The aim is to reach the mark over and over, not to rack up an enormous total in a handful of standout games. You can keep your own tally of matches where you clear five kills and compare it with the in-game challenge counter when Season 1 goes live.

When does Warzone Parallax camo become available?

Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 starts at midnight Eastern Time on Friday, 6 November. That’s 5:00 AM GMT in the UK, 6:00 AM CET in central Europe and 9:00 PM Pacific on Thursday, 5 November. The Warzone mastery track arrives with that update.

Warzone gets the new Hajin Battle Royale map, Zodiac Resurgence map and modes including Rally Point. Activision hasn’t specified precisely which playlists count towards each Mastery challenge in its pre-launch instructions, so check the challenge display before assuming a limited-time mode will advance your match total.

What comes after Parallax?

Finishing Parallax opens the second Mastery challenge, Damascus Reforged. That asks for two kills without plating, 200 times. Completing Damascus Reforged then opens Empyros, which requires 75 matches where you finish in the top five with at least six kills.

These are three different challenges with different rules. Parallax counts qualifying five-kill matches. Damascus Reforged focuses on getting two kills without using armour plates between them. Empyros combines placement with eliminations. Getting good at one doesn’t bypass the requirements for the next.

Can you use older Warzone weapons?

Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7 weapons remain in Warzone through the Legacy tab, but Activision says Legacy Weapons don’t support the new Modern Warfare 4 mastery camos. That’s worth knowing before you build a loadout around an older favourite.

For the Warzone Parallax camo, concentrate on unlocking Divergence and putting together five-kill games with eligible weapons. When the update lands, the in-game counter will show whether your progress has been credited. The published requirement is demanding but clear: 300 separate qualifying matches.
