The ESO Jerall Pass PTS November 3 playtest begins at 1:00 AM GMT on Wednesday, 4 November 2026 in Britain. ZeniMax Online Studios scheduled the coordinated session for Tuesday, 3 November at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time in the US, moving it forward from the earlier date. This is a PC/Mac Public Test Server session, not a live-server launch.

ZeniMax wants to see what happens when all three alliances bring close to 40 players each into the zone. That will give the team a better picture of performance and organised groups in a crowded fight before Jerall Pass reaches live servers.

How to download and join the Jerall Pass PTS

The official ESO support instructions confirm that PC and Mac players with an active ESO account can use the Public Test Server. Xbox and PlayStation do not support the PTS. The separate client has to be enabled from the desktop launcher, and Steam players can open that launcher through Steam.

  1. Start the ESO launcher on your PC or Mac.
  2. Select the gear icon near its upper-right corner.
  3. Turn on Show Public Test Environment and select Apply.
  4. Choose The Elder Scrolls Online (PTS) and install or update that client.
  5. Launch the PTS and join the available Jerall Pass activity when you’re ready to test.

Install the PTS in advance if you plan to join the ESO Jerall Pass PTS November 3 test. It’s a separate client, so changes made there won’t carry over to your live characters. Once you’re in, use /bug to report a technical problem or /feedback to share your experience with the new PvP zone.

What is Jerall Pass testing?

Jerall Pass is a smaller, three-sided Alliance PvP area north of Cyrodiil. Its main objective revolves around Fanthor Keep, with supplies, a new currency and special scrolls involved in the fighting. ZeniMax wants to observe what happens with near-full 40v40v40 participation rather than make balancing decisions based only on small matches.

Players have raised concerns about coordinated ‘ball groups’ dominating a smaller map. ZeniMax is discussing possible group restrictions, but 40v40v40 describes the zone’s test population, not the size allowed for one party. The ESO Jerall Pass PTS November 3 test will help inform that decision.

ESO Jerall Pass PTS November 3: what changes in Week 2?

Following the first testing week, ZeniMax outlined stronger guards at alliance entrances to discourage spawn camping, more resources from Supply Crates to help keep upgrades, and a higher appearance rate for the Pyre Lord in Jerall Pass Cave. These are planned Week 2 PTS changes, not a final list of live-game rules.

Jerall Offense and Defense Scrolls are also due to become tutorial quest rewards, while remaining available from merchants. A bug allowing the wrong alliances to see certain repeatable quest boards is being addressed. If you tested the first week, these are the differences worth watching when you return.

Does the PTS test mean Jerall Pass is launching?

No. The regular ESO Update 52 release is scheduled for 19 January 2027, with a minimap and other quality-of-life improvements. The developer’s patch notes say Jerall Pass becomes permanently available on 27 January, at the start of Season Three. The ESO Jerall Pass PTS November 3 playtest is only for PC/Mac testers in November.

Keep these dates separate: 4 November at 1 AM GMT for the organised UK test, 19 January for Update 52 and 27 January for permanent Jerall Pass access. The November session is PC/Mac PTS only.
