The Fortnite One Piece named locations quest asks you to discover four named areas of Crossbones Isle during Treasure Hunters. It appears in the Episode 2 One Piece challenges, awards 10,000 XP and counts as one completed objective towards the free spray track.
You do not need to defeat a boss or collect a special weapon at those destinations. The useful part is choosing genuinely new points of interest rather than landing somewhere you have already uncovered. Here are the named areas Epic has shown and how to make the discovery counter progress.
How to complete the Fortnite One Piece named locations quest
To finish the Fortnite One Piece named locations quest, open the Quests tab and select the Episode 2 objective about discovering four named locations. Look at the island map for areas you have not yet uncovered, then visit a new named point of interest and check whether the counter increases.

The Fortnite One Piece named locations quest is about discovering new places, not holding a location for a certain time or winning a battle there. The progress is reported as cumulative across matches, so you can take a different route each drop instead of trying to cross the whole island in one game.
Which Crossbones Isle named locations count?
Epic’s official Crossbones Isle map labels these 12 locations. They give you several choices for the Fortnite One Piece named locations quest, although a POI that is already discovered on your account will not be a new discovery simply because you return to it.
| Named POI | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Rubber Resort | North-west island |
| The Chest | Islets off the northern coast |
| Loot Lagoon | North desert coast |
| Lil’ Uzi’s Stronghold | North-east |
| Lantern Landing | West-central area |
| Arlong Park | West coastal island |
| Cursed Cavern | Centre-east crater |
| The $.$. Rocky | Eastern battleship |
| Loguetown | South-centre town |
| Windmill Village | South-west island |
| Busy Bay | South-east islands |
| Plunder Port | Southern docks |
Any four named POIs will do. They don’t all need to be One Piece landmarks. Use the game’s current map to identify the ones that are still undiscovered for your account. Later island updates could add or alter destinations.
Easiest way to discover four new POIs
Before queuing, open the map and identify a named area you have not visited. Land near its central named region, move into the area and verify the discovery message or quest increment. If it registers, use the rest of the match to loot and rotate rather than deliberately restarting immediately.
On the next match, choose a different undiscovered place. If two new POIs are close together and the storm permits it, you can walk or travel between them. Cannons are a season-wide travel option that Epic has confirmed for Crossbones Isle, but the quest is not specifically asking you to use one.

This makes the Fortnite One Piece named locations quest a useful early challenge when you are learning the new island. Exploring can also lead to chest loot for the separate Legendary-item challenge, or put you near Straw Hat Crew NPCs for the conversation quest.
Does landing at the location always register?
Launch-day guides generally recommend landing at an undiscovered named location, but descriptions differ on whether landing itself or moving far enough into the POI triggers discovery. The dependable test is your map and quest counter. Walk into the named area until the game clearly identifies it, then check progress.
If the Fortnite One Piece named locations quest does not advance at a familiar POI, it may be because that location was already discovered. Choose one still shown as undiscovered rather than spending more time crossing the same streets. Also confirm the Episode quest is enabled in your current mode.
Can you finish the four discoveries in separate matches?
Yes, the objective is reported as a cumulative discovery total. You do not need to survive four full matches or get four eliminations. The same location is not a new discovery each time you land, so choose new names until the four-location target has been reached.
This is one of the easiest objectives to combine with ordinary exploration. If a location is contested, you can still register its discovery and retreat rather than staying to fight. Remember that the task only asks for four new named areas.
What reward do you get for four named locations?
The Episode 2 objective is worth 10,000 XP and counts as one completed One Piece quest. The quest reward track offers four free sprays at one, three, five and seven completed objectives, with Buggy’s design as the fourth and final spray.
The Fortnite One Piece named locations quest does not unlock a full One Piece Outfit or a new POI for your own map. It is simply an exploration objective that helps you learn Crossbones Isle and work towards the crossover’s free cosmetics.
Once four discoveries register, you can concentrate on Nami’s Tangerines, talking to two Straw Hats or reaching the top 10. Those other Episode 2 tasks can be combined naturally with visits to new locations, so you can make several kinds of progress in a normal match.
