Fortnite One Piece quests are live in the Treasure Hunters crossover, with eight launch objectives across Episode 1 and Episode 2. Each completed quest earns 10,000 XP, while four free sprays unlock after finishing one, three, five and seven objectives.

You can earn the four free sprays without buying Luffy or another Outfit. The challenges include Zoro sword damage, Gum-Gum Rocket travel, Nami’s Tangerines and meeting the Straw Hats on Crossbones Isle. Here is exactly what to do and which objectives are worth starting first.

All Fortnite One Piece quests and their 10,000 XP rewards

Find these challenges in the One Piece section of Fortnite’s Quests tab. Episode 1 covers combat and loot; Episode 2 focuses on exploring, meeting characters and surviving a match. Check the counter on each objective as you play, particularly when a task needs an exact item or distance.

2Discover 4 named locations10,000
2Talk to 2 Straw Hat Crew NPCs10,000
2Finish in the top 10 once10,000

The total available from these eight Fortnite One Piece quests is 80,000 XP. You only need to finish seven for all four sprays. That leaves room to skip the hardest task for your play style, provided the other seven register as complete.

Episode 1: how to complete the Zoro and Gum-Gum challenges

For the Zoro task, find the Three Sword Style item in Battle Royale and use it to damage opponents. Your aim is 700 damage in total, not 700 damage in one swing or one elimination. Damage to buildings or scenery will not count as damage dealt to opponents. If you find the weapon late in a match, prioritise a safe fight over charging into a full squad.

The Gum-Gum Rocket quest needs 250 metres of travel using the Gum-Gum Fruit’s movement ability. Rocket is different from the fruit’s attack, so check the action shown when you equip the item. Use it to travel, then read the objective counter to make sure the movement was recorded.

These Fortnite One Piece quests work best when you treat the special items as part of your normal loadout. The island has changing loot and contested areas, so there is no reason to assume one chest will always deliver the sword or fruit.

Episode 1: Legendary items and Usopp’s long-range hits

Collect three Legendary-rarity or better items for the loot task. Legendary and higher equipment qualifies in reported quest details; Gold Bars and unrelated treasure do not count as items of that rarity. Pick up the item and make sure the counter advances rather than assuming simply seeing gold-coloured loot is enough.

Usopp’s objective needs 10 hits from beyond 50 metres. It is a distance test, not a request for 10 eliminations, and it does not require using Usopp’s Slingshot in the available quest reporting. An accurate assault rifle or another comfortable ranged weapon is useful. Place a map ping to judge the distance if you need a reference.

Episode 2: Tangerines, locations and Straw Hat conversations

The second wave of Fortnite One Piece quests asks you to collect 16 Nami’s Tangerines. These are a named crossover consumable. Ordinary healing fish or the Golden Apple do not become Tangerines simply because both are food. Check the name of the pickup and watch the progress counter.

You also need to discover four separate named areas. Epic confirms places such as Arlong Park and Windmill Village on its 80-player Crossbones Isle map. Aim for locations still shown as undiscovered rather than returning to the same POI each match. The full island layout is in our Crossbones Isle map guide.

Talking to two Straw Hat Crew NPCs is another interaction objective. Reports suggest Loguetown is worth checking, but their exact positions can change and Epic’s broad launch announcement does not provide a named NPC list. Look for the conversation prompt; wearing a Straw Hat skin or fighting a boss is not the same thing as talking to crew members.

Finally, finish one Battle Royale match in the top 10. You do not need a Victory Royale. Rotate out of dangerous fights, maintain shields and focus on surviving once the number of remaining players gets low.

Fortnite One Piece quests: all four free spray milestones

Finishing the quests also progresses the four-spray reward track. The sprays are cosmetic graffiti rewards, not free versions of the characters’ playable Outfits.

Completed questsSpray reward
1Luffy and Zoro
3Nami and Usopp
5Sanji and Tony Tony Chopper
7Buggy

If you are only chasing sprays, try named locations and the top-10 finish early, then combine NPC conversations, Tangerine collection and rare-loot pickups during ordinary games. Take the Zoro or Gum-Gum opportunities whenever the required item appears.

Do the Fortnite One Piece quests give free character skins?

No. The Fortnite One Piece quests reward XP and four sprays. Luffy, Nami and Usopp are Item Shop arrivals at launch; Zoro and Sanji follow on November 7, Buggy on November 13. Ace and Nico Robin appear in the Battle Pass, and Chopper is offered as a Sidekick rather than a wearable Outfit.

Epic has announced a Chapter 7 finale for December 5, but has not confirmed that date as the exact closing time of this individual quest reward track. Use the countdown in the active Quests tab for the specific deadline, and check the reward track there for claiming options.
