WWE WrestleMania 38: Winner of Raw Tag Team Championship match

The Raw Tag Team Championship match opened WrestleMania 38 Night 2 as RK-Bro defended their titles against Street Profits and Alpha Academy.

Most of the Superstars in the match are renowned for their wrestling, grappling, and submission skills, so the match certainly has the potential to be a very fun and entertaining match.

Riddle and Orton were a team that many wouldn’t have expected much from, including me, with the team likely just being short-lived.

But, they have become one of the best parts of Raw and I get excited whenever I know they will be wrestling, so this was a match I was excited to watch.

The match started with plenty of brawling as all six men tried to gain the upper hand with plenty of Suplexes and even an impressive Moonsault by Chad Gable.

Chad Gable and Riddle are two of the best Superstars in the company in terms of pure wrestling ability, so seeing them two go at it is a treat for any fan.

The abilities of each team are really interesting, with each team having someone who specializes in pure wrestling ability, while each second member has their own style, with Orton being more of a grappler/brawler, Montez Ford being more high flying, and Otis being a powerhouse.

Trying to predict a winner was a very tough one as an argument could be made for all three teams and why they should leave WrestleMania as champions.

But, in the end, RK-Bro was able to retain their titles after Randy Orton hit an RKO outta nowhere onto Chad Gable. Although I did predict Street Profits would win, I am very happy with this result as RK-Bro is perhaps my favorite team in WWE today.

Following the match, Street Profits handed RK-Bro drinks to celebrate their victory, even inviting Gable Steveson into the ring with them. But, Chad Gable spoiled the fun by knocking the drink out of Gable’s hand (this is getting confusing), with Chad receiving a Suplex for his troubles.

It is clear that WWE will be pushing Gable Steveson to the moon when he starts competing full time.
