The New Day vs Sheamus and Ridge Holland match was originally scheduled to take place on Night 1 of WrestleMania 38, but it was cut due to time constraints and moved to Night 2, although it might as well have not been.

With Big E’s recent neck injury, a big deal was made about Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods wearing ring gear inspired by Big E, but in less than two minutes Sheamus and Ridge Holland were able to defeat them.

It didn’t make much sense for Sheamus and Ridge Holland to squash the New Day like they did, and it likely was due to time cuts again.

But if two minutes is the best you can do? Why bother at all, just shove it on the preshow.

Very disappointing, all four men deserved much better.
