One half of the current WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Nash Carter has been released by the WWE after allegations of domestic violence surfaced from his wife and fellow professional wrestler Kimber Lee.

Nash Carter, real name Zachary Green, was released by WWE on April 6 following allegations by his wife Kimber Lee.

In a series of now deleted posts, Kimber Lee accused her husband of being abusive and violent towards her, before again publicly making allegations on Tuesday saying,

“Hey @WWENXT this is my face after your tag champ @NashCarterWWE got wasted and hit me so hard he split my lip open. He told me I’m a wrestler so I’m always marked up. I’ve hid this for a year and even forgave him. But I can’t hide it anymore.”

Carter, alongside his teammate Wes Lee, won the NXT Tag Team Championships at the recent NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver PPV that took place during WrestleMania weekend.

The team of MSK was formerly known as the Rascalz and would perform in Impact Wrestling, PWG, and the independents before landing in WWE in 2020.

It is unclear what will happen to the NXT Tag Team Championships now that Nash Carter has been released, we expect them to be vacated. But, in the grand scheme of things that isn’t really important if the allegations are true.
