Warzone Drop Kits are new Resurgence items in Season 1 that give you a bonus the next time you redeploy. Four versions have been announced: Insured, Loadout, Armored and Radar. Each changes what happens when you come back after being eliminated, rather than immediately buffing your existing life.
Choosing the right one is really about your next life. Do you need to get back quickly, bring your weapons, land with protection or see what’s happening nearby?
What are Warzone Drop Kits?
Warzone Drop Kits are redeployment bonuses for Resurgence matches. You secure a kit during a match, and its benefit applies to your next redeployment. This is different from calling in a traditional Loadout Drop, which delivers equipment for the life you are currently playing.
These are Resurgence gameplay items, not paid store bundles. Activision has not announced them for standard Battle Royale.

All four Warzone Drop Kits explained
Each version helps with a different part of redeploying. Here’s what the four kits actually give you when you return.
Insured Drop Kit
Insured lets you redeploy faster and keep all your cash. That makes it the option for squads who want players back in action quickly without losing the money they collected earlier in the match.
Keeping your cash means you have more options when you land, including visiting a Buy Station. Activision has not given an exact time saving for faster redeployment.
Loadout Drop Kit
Loadout sends you back into the match with your current Loadout. Its appeal is straightforward: your preferred weapons and equipment are already with you as you return, reducing your reliance on quickly finding a replacement gun.
The kit equips the returning player. It is not a traditional Loadout Drop crate for the squad to collect from.
Armored Drop Kit
Armored provides full armour, bonus perks and a Self-Revive when you redeploy. This is the defensive choice, giving the returning Operator more protection and an additional way to recover from being downed.
This is a useful pick when you expect to land near trouble. The official description does not name the bonus perks included.

Radar Drop Kit
Radar adds an active Radar Ping and supply sweep upon redeployment. Unlike the other three kits, its main value is information. Knowing more about nearby activity and supply locations can help you decide where to land and what to pursue next.
Radar’s appeal is the information it provides when you land. The range and duration of the sweep have not been detailed.
Which Warzone Drop Kits should you choose in Resurgence?
When comparing Warzone Drop Kits, choose Insured if a fast return and retaining cash are the priorities. Loadout is the most direct option for returning with a familiar weapon setup. Armored helps with a vulnerable re-entry, while Radar is for players who want information to guide their next move.
If your squad already has plenty of cash but keeps landing into fights, Armored may suit you better than Insured. If you need to find your bearings after returning, Radar offers a different advantage.
How to get and activate Warzone Drop Kits
Activision describes players securing a Drop Kit, with its bonus triggering on the next redeployment. It has not specified a complete set of pickup locations, purchasing costs or a definitive control sequence in the official pre-launch announcement.
Whichever kit you collect, the reward matters when you redeploy. You do not need to confuse it with the regular Loadout Drop or the perks chosen before a match.
When do Warzone Drop Kits arrive?
Warzone Drop Kits are included in the Season 1 update on Friday 6 November 2026, beginning at 05:00 GMT. That is midnight Eastern, 06:00 CET, 14:00 JST and 16:00 AEDT. In Pacific time, the launch takes place at 21:00 on Thursday 5 November.
The new Weapon Trade Station also applies specifically to Resurgence, but it has a different job: exchanging a held weapon for one of better rarity. Drop Kits focus on the next redeployment rather than upgrading a gun you are holding right now.
