Warframe Vacis Amp Skin: How to Get It and Farm 175 Moonflesh

The Vacis Amp Skin is one of the new customization rewards sold by Praghasa during Epoch Operation: Taubound.

Warframe Vacis Amp Skin is a new Epoch Operation: Taubound cosmetic sold by Praghasa for 175 Moonflesh. You can buy it as soon as you have enough event currency; unlike the Contegorus Armor pieces, the Vacis skin is not locked behind a community progress milestone.

Taubound closes on November 17, 2026, and Digital Extremes calls it a one-time Operation. Vacis is therefore a straightforward short-term target: reach 175 Moonflesh, buy it from Praghasa and move on to the rest of the reward shop. Resource Boosters won’t increase the currency drops.

How to get the Warframe Vacis Amp Skin

To get the Warframe Vacis Amp Skin, complete Vor’s Prize if you have not already, enter the Taubound version of Eris, collect 175 Moonflesh and take that currency to Praghasa. Digital Extremes has temporarily opened the Operation’s Eris access to players who have completed Vor’s Prize, so you don’t need to clear the normal Star Chart route to Eris first.

Open Praghasa’s reward shop and buy the Vacis Amp Skin from the new-items section. The skin is available independently of the Contegorus community milestones, so there is no 30%, 60% or 90% progress gate attached to it.

Vacis Amp Skin Moonflesh cost

The Warframe Vacis Amp Skin costs 175 Moonflesh. Current live reward tables agree on that price, while Digital Extremes’ official Operation announcement confirms Vacis as one of Praghasa’s new rewards.

Fastest way to farm 175 Moonflesh

You have two reliable routes for the 175 Moonflesh needed for the Warframe Vacis Amp Skin: regular Eris missions and the timed Taubound Tactical Alerts. Normal Infested enemies on Eris can drop 2 Moonflesh each, or 3 each on Steel Path. Maggots are excluded from the drop pool.

Tactical Alerts are the bigger guaranteed chunks. They appear roughly once an hour and award 50 Moonflesh on normal difficulty or 75 on Steel Path when completed. Enemies inside the Alert can also drop Moonflesh, so one successful Alert can cover a large part of the Vacis price by itself.

How many Alerts do you need for the Vacis Amp Skin?

If you relied only on completion rewards, four normal Tactical Alerts would give you 200 Moonflesh, enough for the Warframe Vacis Amp Skin with 25 left over. Three Steel Path Alerts would give you 225.

In practice you will usually need fewer dedicated runs because Infested enemies can drop Moonflesh during the Alert and in ordinary Eris missions. If Vacis is the only reward you are chasing, stop once you reach 175 and head back to Praghasa rather than building a much larger event balance first.

Do Resource Boosters increase Moonflesh?

No. Digital Extremes states that Moonflesh is an Operation Currency and is not affected by Resource Boosters. A booster therefore will not cut the Warframe Vacis Amp Skin grind in half.

Steel Path does increase the base enemy drop from 2 to 3 Moonflesh and raises the Tactical Alert completion reward from 50 to 75. Those are built-in event differences rather than booster effects.

Where is Praghasa?

Praghasa has her own reward interface in the Taubound Eris area. Once you arrive, interact with the Sentient mothership and the Moonflesh shop opens with the new cosmetics, returning Operation gear and repeatable resources.

The Warframe Vacis Amp Skin sits alongside other new Taubound rewards such as the Dhampyre Syandana, Khadati Sumdali, vessel glyphs, the Natah Neolyst Floof and The Moon Killer Honoria. Returning Operation rewards and repeatable resources are in the same wider shop.

Is Vacis tied to the Contegorus community progress?

No community threshold is listed for Vacis. Digital Extremes specifically marks the three Contegorus Armor pieces as unlocking at 30%, 60% and 90% overall progress, while the Warframe Vacis Amp Skin appears in the normal new-items list.

So if you can see Praghasa’s shop and have 175 Moonflesh, you can buy Vacis without waiting for another global milestone. The community bar still matters to the Operation as a whole, but it is not the purchase gate for this skin.

When does the Vacis Amp Skin leave?

The current Warframe Vacis Amp Skin route disappears when Taubound closes on November 17, 2026. Digital Extremes has not announced a later vendor, rotation or permanent acquisition method for Vacis.

If you want the skin, the confirmed route is to buy it from Praghasa while Taubound is active. There is no permanent post-event shop route in the current announcement.
