Warframe Aya vs Regal Aya is the difference between farming Prime gear for free and paying to unlock it instantly. Aya is earned through gameplay and buys Void Relics. Regal Aya is purchased with real money and buys completed Prime items and selected premium accessories.
Varzia Dax accepts both currencies during Prime Resurgence, but they serve different purposes. For the current Nidus Prime and Saryn Prime rotation, the choice is whether to open Relics and craft the gear yourself or pay for a ready-to-use item.

With Aya, you’re paying for a Relic and the chance to earn its Prime parts. Regal Aya removes the Relic and Foundry steps for eligible items and can buy premium Prime Accessories that don’t drop from Relics.
Where to farm Aya for free
Aya is earned in eligible Bounties and Void missions, where it replaces certain vaulted Relic rewards. You can also obtain it from Relic Packs bought with Syndicate Standing or with Platinum in the in-game Market.

Warframe Aya vs Regal Aya: five free crafting steps
1. Earn Aya. Complete eligible Bounties or Void missions, or open Relic Packs.
2. Visit Varzia. Find her in Maroo’s Bazaar on Mars, through the Orbiter’s Relic Segment or in the Market.
3. Buy the right Relics. Check Varzia’s current reward previews and choose Relics containing your missing Prime blueprints.
4. Open the Relics. Equip one in a matching Void Fissure, collect ten Reactant, finish the mission and choose a reward.
5. Craft your Prime. Build the necessary parts in the Foundry using the required resources. You’ll need an inventory slot, and applicable Mastery requirements still apply to crafted equipment.
One point is easy to miss: buying a Relic does not guarantee its rare reward. You may need several Fissure runs before you have every blueprint. Relics you’ve already purchased remain in your inventory after Varzia’s stock changes.
Warframe Aya vs Regal Aya: buying completed Prime gear
1. Buy Regal Aya through Warframe’s official store or in-game Market. It cannot be traded or gifted.
2. Choose an item from Varzia’s current Prime Warframe, weapon, accessory or pack selection.
3. Equip your purchase. Prime Warframes and weapons arrive already built, with a slot and installed Orokin Reactor or Catalyst. Regal Aya purchases also bypass the normal Mastery requirement for that gear.
Warframe Aya vs Regal Aya: current Prime prices
Varzia’s standard costs are 3 Regal Aya for a Prime Warframe, 2 for a Prime weapon, 1 to 2 for customisations, 6 for a single Prime pack and 10 for a dual pack. Prime Noggles cost 1 Regal Aya. These aren’t the real-money prices of Regal Aya bundles.
In the current rotation, Nidus Prime and Saryn Prime each cost 3 Regal Aya, with 6-Regal-Aya packs and a 10-Regal-Aya dual pack. Premium accessories such as certain Syandanas use Regal Aya; Varzia also sells selected customisations, Ducats and Void Traces for regular Aya.
Can you trade or refund Regal Aya?
Regal Aya cannot be traded or gifted. Digital Extremes allows refunds for a limited time while the currency is still unused. Once you’ve spent it on a Prime unlock, that purchase cannot be refunded under the published policy.
Vaulted Void Relics are different: eligible ones can be traded between players, and you can still open them after Varzia’s rotation changes. You don’t have to rush the Foundry build before the shop refresh.
For Warframe Aya vs Regal Aya, the free route is best if you’re happy running Fissures, while Regal Aya suits an immediate unlock or a paid-only accessory. Nidus Prime and Saryn Prime were announced on 29 October 2026; Digital Extremes hasn’t confirmed a precise end date in the announcement.
