The Warframe Contegorus Armor Set unlocks in three stages during Epoch Operation: Taubound. The community has to reach 30% overall Moonflesh progress for the Greaves, 60% for the Pauldrons and 90% for the Chest Plate.
These are shared milestones for the whole Warframe community, not targets on your personal account. When a threshold is reached, that armor piece becomes available to buy from Praghasa on Eris before Taubound ends on November 17.
How to get the Warframe Contegorus Armor Set
Farm Moonflesh on Eris and watch the overall Operation meter. The Warframe Contegorus Armor Set enters Praghasa’s shop one piece at a time as the community crosses the three unlock percentages.
| Contegorus piece | Community progress required |
|---|---|
| Contegorus Greaves | 30% |
| Contegorus Pauldrons | 60% |
| Contegorus Chest Plate | 90% |
The milestone only opens the purchase. It does not hand the armor piece to every player automatically, so you still need to visit Praghasa once that part of the set has unlocked.
Is Contegorus Armor personal or community progress?
It is entirely community-driven. The Event tab tracks Moonflesh gathered by all Tenno, and the Warframe Contegorus Armor Set follows that shared percentage rather than your own individual contribution.
Your farming pushes the same global meter as everyone else’s. A Tenno who joins later sees the same armor unlocks once the community reaches 30%, 60% and 90%.
How to help unlock Contegorus Armor faster
Eligible Infested on Eris can drop 2 Moonflesh on the normal Star Chart or 3 on Steel Path. Maggots are excluded, so they contribute nothing to the event currency farm.
The larger guaranteed gains come from Operation Alerts. They rotate in roughly every hour and pay 50 Moonflesh on normal or 75 on Steel Path, with eligible Infested inside still able to drop more. Boosters have no effect on Moonflesh.
Do you need to save Moonflesh until the armor unlocks?
The unlock percentage is tied to Moonflesh collected across the Operation, while the Moonflesh on your account is what you use at Praghasa. Those are two separate things: community progress opens the item, then you buy it for yourself.
Digital Extremes has not published the individual Moonflesh prices for the Contegorus pieces in the announcement, so check Praghasa’s live shop after each threshold opens to see the current purchase cost before spending your remaining balance elsewhere.
Can new players get the Contegorus Armor Set?
Yes. Completing Vor’s Prize is enough to enter Taubound. The Operation temporarily opens Eris without the usual Junction progression, so newer Tenno can farm Moonflesh and visit Praghasa while the event is live.
The Hex and The Old Peace are not required for the Warframe Contegorus Armor Set. Those quests are tied to the separate Tau Prologue rather than access to the Taubound Operation shop.
Why is a Contegorus piece still locked?
If one of the three pieces is still greyed out in Praghasa’s shop, check the overall Taubound percentage. Greaves stay locked below 30%, Pauldrons below 60% and the Chest Plate below 90%.
Having enough Moonflesh on your own account cannot skip that global gate. Everyone waits for the same community milestone before the next Contegorus piece opens.
The Warframe Contegorus Armor Set therefore has no personal shortcut around the community meter: every player waits for the same three global unlock points.
When does the Contegorus Armor event end?
The current Warframe Contegorus Armor Set route is part of Epoch Operation: Taubound, which ends on November 17, 2026. Digital Extremes says the Operation itself will never rerun, so complete any Taubound purchases you want before the event closes.
