Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide: How to Play and Get Rewards

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide covers the actual route through the 2026 Tactical Alert, from finding it in Navigation to opening the locked path, killing Jack O’Naut and collecting the current reward set. Hallowed Nightmares runs from October 1 at 11 a.m. ET until November 2 at 11 a.m. ET.

Digital Extremes has brought the alert back for the first time in eight years. It sits alongside Nights of Naberus, but it is not Daughter’s Mother Token shop. Hallowed Nightmares is a separate Event-tab mission with its own one-time set of rewards.

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide: Where to start Hallowed Nightmares

Open Navigation and switch to the Event tab. Select Hallowed Nightmares from the active events and launch the Tactical Alert directly from there. You do not need to speak to Daughter, farm Mother Tokens or buy an entry item.

If you were actually looking for the seasonal shop, use our Warframe Nights of Naberus 2026 guide. Daughter handles Naberus Treats. Hallowed Nightmares handles Jack O’Naut and the Tactical Alert reward set.

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide: what changes when you enter

The documented returning Hallowed Nightmares format disables normal weapons and Warframe powers, including Focus abilities, and reduces combat to unarmed strikes. That immediately changes what matters. A strong weapon build does not solve the alert if those tools are unavailable.

Your priorities are movement, staying alive, following the objective markers and understanding how the boss takes damage. Treat it as a mechanics mission, not a DPS check.

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide: Find the yellow objective markers

The older Hallowed Nightmares route uses yellow objective bars on the minimap to lead you to a locked-door puzzle. Follow those markers rather than trying to clear the whole tileset room by room.

Archived mission notes describe two consoles on the same tile. Hacking the required console interaction produces the power core needed to move forward.

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide: Get the power core to the locked door

Pick up the power core and carry it to the marked door or objective point. Installing it opens the route deeper into the mission.

Older versions could leave additional power cores around the map. If the live 2026 alert gives you another yellow marker after the first interaction, follow that marker. The objective UI matters more than memorising an old room count.

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide: Reach the Jack O’Naut arena

After the door section, continue through the marked route until you reach a large arena tile. Jack O’Naut resembles an Infested Juggernaut with a giant pumpkin head.

The important visual is not the boss itself, though. Look around the arena for the stacked pumpkin explosives. Those are the mechanic that actually kills him.

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide: Use the pumpkin explosives to damage Jack O’Naut

Destroy one of the stacked pumpkin explosives and it creates a patch of fire on the floor. Jack O’Naut takes damage while standing inside that burning area.

The safest approach is to get his attention, line him up with the explosive and move away as he closes the distance. If you can bait his charge into the pumpkin stack, the explosion and lingering fire land directly underneath him.

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide: Repeat the fire mechanic until the boss dies

One blast will not finish Jack O’Naut. Move around the arena, use another pumpkin stack and repeat the same positioning until his health is gone.

Do not waste the fight trying to punch him down between barrels. Unarmed attacks may keep him engaged, but the environmental fire is the mechanic that matters.

Warframe Hallowed Nightmares guide: What you get for completing the alert

Digital Extremes confirms four rewards for 2026: Jack O’Naut Keychain Sugatra, Jack O’Naut Recall Glyph, Noggle Statue – Manic and 50,000 Credits.

The Keychain Sugatra is new this year. The glyph, Noggle and Credits are returning rewards. Digital Extremes describes Hallowed Nightmares as a one-time additional reward set rather than a Mother Token vendor or repeatable currency farm.

Quick tips before you launch

  • Start it from the Event tab in Navigation, not from Daughter.
  • Expect the returning mission to restrict normal weapons and powers.
  • Use the yellow minimap markers to find the console and power-core route.
  • Treat Jack O’Naut as an environmental boss. The pumpkin fire is your real damage source.
  • Give yourself room before a pumpkin stack explodes so you do not trap yourself beside the blast.
  • Finish before November 2 at 11 a.m. ET, when the Tactical Alert closes.

What is confirmed for 2026

Digital Extremes directly confirms the dates, the return of Jack O’Naut and the four-item reward set. The 2026 announcement does not republish the full mission walkthrough.

The unarmed restrictions, yellow-marker route, console and power-core objective, locked door and pumpkin-fire boss mechanic are the documented Hallowed Nightmares structure from previous runs. If Digital Extremes has adjusted a room or objective count in 2026, follow the live Event markers while keeping the same core logic in mind.
