Titan Quest II PS5 releases on January 19, 2027, with eligible digital preorders providing 96 hours of early access from January 15. THQ Nordic opened console preorders on October 28, 2026, offering Standard and Ultimate Editions. Both include the Cosmic Turtle Companion as a preorder bonus.

Ultimate also adds the original Titan Quest and its Ragnarök and Atlantis expansions, which become playable immediately following an eligible preorder. If you’re buying primarily for the new action RPG, Standard gives you the same early-access period and companion without the older game bundle.

Titan Quest II PS5 release date and early access time

The full console release is Tuesday, January 19. With a qualifying preorder, you can start playing on Friday, January 15, four days early. THQ Nordic advertises 96 hours of advance access on both PlayStation 5 editions, so you do not have to choose Ultimate to start early.

The January date is also the end of PC Early Access, which has been running since August 2025. PS5 players are buying the completed console release, not entering the unfinished PC development programme.

Titan Quest II PS5 Standard and Ultimate preorder bonuses

The Standard Edition provides Titan Quest II, the Cosmic Turtle Companion and the 96-hour head start. The Turtle is a digital pet bundled with eligible preorders and is available through Standard as well as Ultimate.

The Ultimate Edition includes all the Standard benefits and adds Titan Quest, Ragnarök and Atlantis. These earlier releases are playable immediately after an eligible preorder. The difference is older game content, not an extra PS5-exclusive mission or a longer early-access period.

THQ Nordic’s suggested international pricing is $59.99 or €59.99 for Standard and $79.99 or €79.99 for Ultimate. UK PlayStation customers should use the GBP price displayed in their own PlayStation Store checkout, since the publisher’s figures are announced in dollars and euros.

How to preorder Titan Quest II PS5 digitally

Open the PlayStation Store on your PS5 or through your PlayStation account, search for Titan Quest II and select the edition you want. Check the included add-ons before paying. Standard’s entitlement includes the Cosmic Turtle; Ultimate additionally includes the original game and both expansions.

Once your purchase is confirmed, the preorder is tied to your PlayStation account. Install the game when the console download is available, then use the January 15 early-access period. The full January 19 release date remains unchanged for everybody else.

Does Titan Quest II PS5 have a 10% loyalty discount?

THQ Nordic announced a 10% discount for qualifying digital owners of the original Titan Quest on PlayStation or Xbox. Sign in to the same account that owns the first game before viewing the preorder. Eligibility is linked to ownership, rather than to choosing the Ultimate Edition.

The store will display the final applicable purchase price at checkout. You can read our loyalty discount guide for account requirements and the difference between this promotion and the Cosmic Turtle bonus.

Can you play Titan Quest II PS5 with friends?

The PlayStation Store lists support for up to four online players, with PlayStation Plus required for online play. You can also play the story alone. Combat is built around combining two of the six Masteries, giving 15 different class pairings before equipment and skill modifiers enter the picture.

The game is set in a new version of ancient Greece, with Nemesis interfering with Fate. The finished release includes the fifth chapter in the Taygetos Mountains and the conclusion of the story. Check our six-Mastery guide if you want to plan a class before launch.

Should you buy Standard or Ultimate on Titan Quest II PS5?

For Titan Quest II PS5, Standard is the straightforward purchase if you only want the new game, its preorder Turtle and 96-hour early access. Ultimate makes more sense if you also want the original Titan Quest plus Ragnarök and Atlantis immediately. The early start is identical either way.

There is a separate physical Collector’s Edition with a 29 cm Nemesis statue, artbook, banner and soundtrack CD. Our Collector’s Edition guide covers that option rather than mixing it up with Ultimate.
