Is The Sinking City 2 on PS5?
Yes. PS5 is one of the confirmed The Sinking City 2 platforms.
The PlayStation Store lists The Sinking City 2 specifically as a PS5 game with support for one player and Remote Play.
The PS5 version also supports DualSense controller vibration and trigger effects.
Players can choose between Standard, Deluxe and Premium Editions. All three contain the main game, while the more expensive editions add additional content.
Premium Edition owners receive a 24-hour early unlock and can begin playing on August 17 rather than waiting for the standard August 18 release.
Is The Sinking City 2 on PS4?
No PS4 version has been announced.
The PlayStation Store identifies The Sinking City 2 as a PS5 release rather than a cross-generation PS4 and PS5 game.
PS4 is also absent from Frogwares’ official list of The Sinking City 2 platforms.
That means players who only have a PS4 should not expect a version at launch. Frogwares could announce additional platforms in the future, but there is currently no confirmed PS4 release.
Is The Sinking City 2 on Xbox Series X and Series S?
Yes. The Sinking City 2 launches on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
Microsoft lists the game as Optimized for Xbox Series X|S.
The Xbox version also lists support for 4K Ultra HD, ray tracing and 60 fps or higher, alongside single-player gameplay.
Both current-generation Xbox consoles are therefore included among The Sinking City 2 platforms from release day.
The Xbox Standard, Deluxe and Premium Editions are all available ahead of launch.
Is The Sinking City 2 on Xbox One?
No Xbox One version has been announced.
Microsoft’s store specifically lists Xbox Series X|S under the systems compatible with The Sinking City 2.
Xbox One is not included.
Like the PS4 version, an Xbox One release should not be treated as impossible forever, but Frogwares has not announced one. The confirmed launch is limited to the newer Xbox Series consoles.
Is The Sinking City 2 on PC?
Yes. PC is included among The Sinking City 2 platforms at launch.
The PC version is available through Steam and releases on August 18.
Steam also currently offers a free demo of The Sinking City 2, allowing PC players to try part of the game before purchasing the full release.
The Steam version supports single-player gameplay, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing.
Its minimum PC specifications require Windows 11, 16 GB of RAM, 70 GB of available storage and a DirectX 12-compatible system.
Players should check the complete system requirements before buying if they are unsure whether their PC can run the game.
Is The Sinking City 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch 2?
Nintendo Switch 2 is not currently included among The Sinking City 2 platforms.
Frogwares has not announced a Switch 2 version, and Nintendo’s new console is absent from the official launch-platform information.
The same applies to the original Nintendo Switch.
At launch, The Sinking City 2 is focused on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
That does not mean Frogwares could never bring the game to another platform later. It simply means there is currently no confirmed Nintendo Switch 2 release date or version.
Are All Editions Available on the Same Platforms?
The Standard, Deluxe and Premium Editions are offered across the main The Sinking City 2 platforms.
The Standard Edition includes the base game and eligible pre-order content.
The Deluxe Edition adds the Arkham Field Kit.
The Premium Edition adds the Arkham Field Kit, The Holloway Manor side mission and 24-hour early access beginning August 17.
The platform does not change the basic early-access requirement. Players who want to start one day before the standard launch need the Premium Edition.
Is The Sinking City 2 Single Player on Every Platform?
Yes. The Sinking City 2 is a single-player survival horror game.
PlayStation lists support for one player, Xbox identifies the game as single player and Steam also lists Single-player among its features.
There is no announced online co-op or competitive multiplayer mode.
The game is set in a supernatural version of 1920s Arkham and focuses on exploration, resource management, combat, puzzles and optional investigations.
