Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators: Who Should You Use?

Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators

Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators are not simply the four characters with the biggest damage numbers. The strongest Operators are the ones that bend the normal Action Point economy, generate or spend Advantage efficiently, reposition enemies, or give the squad a job that another character cannot easily replace. Post-launch, Tel-Rea, Jae, Kabb and BR-1 are the clearest examples of those high-impact roles.

For most campaigns, Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators should be chosen by mission rather than locked into one permanent tier list. Hawks is required for story missions and can be built to fill a missing role, while Cly, Luco and Trick become much stronger when the battlefield suits their mobility, range or durability.

Best overall choices in Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators

OperatorWhy they stand out
Tel-Rea VokossForce control, lightsaber pressure and unique Padawan/Wayseeker progression
Jae MordantFinal Shot cleans up low-health enemies without spending another normal attack
Kabb UppercutUppercut can refund its AP on a kill and keeps frontline turns efficient
BR-1Built-In Comlink and Coordinated Support can hand AP back to the squad
HawksMandatory in story missions and highly flexible through player-chosen specializations

Those five cover the most valuable post-launch mechanics: control, cleanup, AP refunds, AP support and build flexibility. That does not make Cly, Luco or Trick bad. It means their value is more dependent on map layout and the job you need filled.

Tel-Rea in Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators

Tel-Rea is the best control-focused authored Operator because Force Push and Force Pull can solve positioning problems that pure damage cannot. Pulling a dangerous target into a prepared firing lane or pushing an enemy out of cover can improve several squad attacks at once.

Her unique Padawan and Wayseeker progression also separates her from the normal specialization pool. Strong with the Force builds Harmony over time, improving her lightsaber pressure and defensive deflection, so she becomes more valuable in fights that last long enough for that engine to matter.

Jae in Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators

Jae’s Final Shot is one of the best action-economy talents in the game. Once per turn, she can automatically finish an enemy left at very low Health after an ally attacks. That can save the AP that another Operator would otherwise spend cleaning up the target.

She also pairs extremely well with Scout tools such as Combat Recon, which can generate Advantage by assessing groups of enemies. A character who helps fill the shared resource and then converts allied damage into free cleanup is useful in almost every mission type.

Kabb in Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators

Kabb is another Operator whose value comes from doing more with a normal turn. Uppercut costs AP, pushes the enemy and can refund its AP when the hit gets the kill. That turns a finishing melee action into movement or another attack rather than ending the turn early.

His Assault and Soldier options also give him strong frontline tools, including Bull Rush, Sweeping Salvo and Brutal Strike. Bring him when you need pressure close to the objective without giving up every remaining action just to reach the fight.

BR-1 in Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators

BR-1 is a support Operator rather than a conventional damage dealer, but that is exactly why the astromech can be so powerful. Built-In Comlink gives AP to an ally, while Coordinated Support can improve the action economy of the entire squad.

Extended Storage and Analytics options add utility uses, scanning and team support. BR-1 is especially strong in longer or dangerous missions where one extra AP on the right Operator changes whether an objective is completed safely.

Hawks in Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators

Hawks belongs high on any practical list because story missions require the commander and because you decide the build. Rather than asking whether Hawks is stronger than one fixed authored Operator, use the character to cover whichever role your preferred squad lacks.

A support-oriented Hawks can bring Medic or Scout value, while a damage build can lean into Sharpshooter, Scoundrel or other unlocked options. The mandatory story slot becomes much less restrictive when Hawks is designed around the other three Operators.

Where Cly, Luco and Trick fit in Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators

Cly’s Combat Jump is excellent on maps where displacement and height matter. Luco becomes more accurate as Sharpened Senses builds, making him valuable on long sightline missions. Trick is more situational, but Heavy and Soldier tools can give the squad a durable body when you need someone to hold dangerous space.

The mistake is treating a broad tier list as more important than the current objective. Rescue, Sabotage, Retrieval and story missions can reward different strengths, and injuries can force a rotation even when your favourite four are healthy most of the campaign.

How to choose the Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators

Start with the mission requirement, then fill four jobs: reliable damage, Advantage generation or support, battlefield control and survival. Hawks may already occupy one slot in story missions, so build the other three around what Hawks is doing rather than duplicating the same role.

Star Wars Zero Company Best Operators are therefore best understood as a flexible group rather than one permanent ranking. Tel-Rea, Jae, Kabb and BR-1 have the strongest general-purpose tactical tools, while Hawks, Cly, Luco and Trick can become the correct choice when the mission or your build calls for them.
