Slayers 2 V0.2 Update is the live October 2026 patch that opens Ouwigahara Roguelike to everyone, adds the Lava Dungeon floor map, introduces Ouwigahara Tokens and changes a large part of the current PvE and Ranked balance. The most important detail is that the launch version of the token economy was adjusted almost immediately, so early guides showing 42 Tokens for a summit run are already out of date. The current full-climb total is 82 Tokens after rewards from floor 30 onward were doubled.
The Slayers 2 V0.2 Update also changes what those Tokens are worth. One Token can now be exchanged for 7,500 Wen or 5,000 Mastery, Series materials cost 20 Tokens, Roguelike cosmetic prices were halved, and NPC scaling becomes less aggressive after floor 65. Those follow-up changes matter more than the first patch summary because they directly change whether you should save Tokens for cosmetics, spend them on materials or convert them into account progression.

The headline system in the Slayers 2 V0.2 Update is the Roguelike version of Ouwigahara. You begin without your normal finished build and assemble a run from random choices, including individual skills, weapons, clan cards and stat upgrades. That makes decision-making part of the progression loop rather than simply bringing your strongest open-world loadout into the tower. Horses are disabled throughout Ouwigahara, so movement cards and safe positioning matter on every floor.
How Ouwigahara Tokens work in the Slayers 2 V0.2 Update
Token rewards are paid at milestones instead of after every floor. Under the updated Slayers 2 V0.2 Update, floors 10 and 20 still give 1 Token each. Floor 30 and 40 now give 4 each, then floors 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 give 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16. Reaching the summit adds 20. Added together, that is 82 Tokens for a complete climb.
| Milestone | Tokens |
|---|---|
| Floor 10 | 1 |
| Floor 20 | 1 |
| Floor 30 | 4 |
| Floor 40 | 4 |
| Floor 50 | 6 |
| Floor 60 | 8 |
| Floor 70 | 10 |
| Floor 80 | 12 |
| Floor 90 | 16 |
| Summit | 20 |
Those milestone amounts are individual rewards, not cumulative totals. The later floors now account for most of a perfect run, so a setup that reaches floor 70 or 80 consistently is much more valuable than a fragile damage build that clears early floors quickly and then collapses. The change also makes the reduced scaling after floor 65 important, because the patch is clearly trying to keep the late section achievable without making the opening floors trivial.
Slayers 2 V0.2 Update Mastery, Wen and material exchanges
After the follow-up adjustment, the Slayers 2 V0.2 Update gives Tokens several useful progression exits. Changer Zeni exposes Token trades through the Show Tokens option. Converting all 82 Tokens from a summit run into Wen would produce 615,000 Wen. Converting the same full run entirely into Mastery would produce 410,000 Mastery. That does not mean either is automatically the best use, because a 20-Token Series material or a limited cosmetic may be much harder to replace than currency.
The smartest way to use the Slayers 2 V0.2 Update is to decide what currently blocks your character. If you need a specific Firstlight or Nightfall material, saving 20 Tokens for that purchase can skip a separate grind. If a weapon or power is held back by Mastery, the 5,000-per-Token exchange is immediate progress. Wen is the flexible option when crafting, refining or general costs are the bottleneck.
Combat and title changes in the Slayers 2 V0.2 Update
The Slayers 2 V0.2 Update is not only an Ouwigahara patch. PvE changes improve several kits against NPCs and bosses, while Ranked PvP has a separate ruleset. Stone, Tamari and Thunder gain PvE damage boosts in specific moves, and Blood Manipulation and Cryokinesis regain important guard-breaking behaviour against NPCs. Ranked PvP, by contrast, removes automatic out-of-combat health regeneration, extends ultimate cooldowns and counts refinement bonuses at half strength.
There are also 37 new titles across multiple activities, including 19 Roguelike titles with run-specific perks. Some can improve the opening of a run with a starting card, an extra heart or a reroll. Unwritten is particularly forgiving because the first fall in a run returns you to the spawn pad instead of ending that mistake normally. Tower-run title progress now requires reaching at least floor 10.
What to do first after the Slayers 2 V0.2 Update
- Open the Hub and make sure Ouwigahara Roguelike is available.
- Run the mode far enough to learn the card pool before chasing a perfect build.
- Prioritise range, area damage, crowd control and a usable cooldown rotation.
- Check your equipped Roguelike title before queueing.
- Treat 82 Tokens as the current perfect-run ceiling, not the old 42-token figure.
- Choose between limited gear, Series materials, Mastery and Wen before spending.
For most players, the best first goal in the Slayers 2 V0.2 Update is not a cosmetic. Learn how far you can climb consistently, then use that reliable Token income to remove the progression bottleneck on your main character. The limited shop is worth watching, but a run that strengthens your normal weapon or power can make every later attempt easier.
