Regieleki is a pure Electric-type Pokémon. Its simple typing gives it only one weakness, making a Regieleki Pokémon GO raid team relatively straightforward to build.

Can Regieleki Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?

Yes, shiny Regieleki is available in Pokémon GO.

Regular Regieleki has a bright yellow body made from electrical energy, with blue rings surrounding its central body. Shiny Regieleki changes the blue rings to white, creating a subtle but noticeable difference.

Shiny Regieleki is not guaranteed after winning a raid. Trainers may need to complete several Regieleki Pokémon GO raids before the shiny version appears.

Regieleki will not appear shiny during the raid battle itself. The shiny check takes place once the raid has been completed and the catch encounter begins.

Regieleki Pokémon GO Weaknesses

The only Regieleki Pokémon GO weakness is Ground-type damage.

GROUND2×

As a pure Electric type, Regieleki is:

  • Weak to Ground-type attacks
  • Resistant to Electric-type attacks
  • Resistant to Flying-type attacks
  • Resistant to Steel-type attacks

Ground-type Pokémon are the best choice for a Regieleki Pokémon GO raid because they deal super-effective damage and often resist Electric-type moves.

Sunny or Clear weather boosts Ground-type attacks. Rainy weather boosts Regieleki and increases the CP of the Pokémon encountered after a successful raid.

Best Regieleki Pokémon GO Raid Counters

The best Regieleki Pokémon GO counters are powerful Ground-type Pokémon equipped with Ground-type Fast and Charged Attacks.

ExcadrillMud-Slap and Scorching Sands
GarchompMud Shot and Earth Power
RhyperiorMud-Slap and Earthquake
MamoswineMud-Slap and High Horsepower

Primal Groudon is one of the strongest Regieleki Pokémon GO raid counters available. Mega Garchomp, Groudon and Therian Forme Landorus are also excellent choices.

Some of the strongest attacks, including Precipice Blades, Earth Power and Sandsear Storm, may require an Elite Charged TM when they are unavailable through regular TMs.

Trainers without top-tier counters can still use Pokémon such as Excadrill, Rhyperior, Mamoswine, Krookodile or ordinary Garchomp.

The most important thing is ensuring both the Fast Attack and Charged Attack deal Ground-type damage.

How Many Trainers Are Needed to Beat Regieleki?

Regieleki has lower defensive stats than many other Legendary raid bosses. Two experienced Trainers with strong Ground-type teams may be able to defeat it under favourable conditions.

Most players should aim for at least three or four Trainers to make a Regieleki Pokémon GO raid comfortable.

A larger group may be needed when:

  • Counters are not fully powered up
  • Pokémon do not have Ground-type attacks
  • Primal or Mega Pokémon are unavailable
  • Friendship damage bonuses are not active
  • Players are joining remotely
  • Regieleki has a Charged Attack that threatens your team

Party Power, weather boosts and friendship bonuses can make a significant difference during the raid.

Regieleki Pokémon GO Perfect IV CP

The perfect IV Regieleki Pokémon GO catch values are:

Encounter conditionsPerfect IV CP
Level 20 without weather boost1,602 CP
Level 25 with Rainy weather2,002 CP

A Regieleki caught at 1,602 CP after a non-weather-boosted raid will have perfect 15/15/15 IVs.

A weather-boosted Regieleki caught at 2,002 CP will also have perfect IVs.

Regieleki can move around the catch screen quickly, so waiting for its attack animation before throwing can make it easier to land an Excellent Curveball Throw.

Best Regieleki Pokémon GO Moveset

The best Regieleki Pokémon GO moveset for raids and Gym battles is:

  • Fast Attack: Volt Switch
  • Charged Attack: Zap Cannon

This combination allows Regieleki to deal consistent Electric-type damage while benefiting from the same-type attack bonus.

Regieleki may have access to the following moves:

Fast Attacks

  • Thunder Shock
  • Volt Switch
  • Lock-On

Charged Attacks

  • Thunder
  • Zap Cannon
  • Hyper Beam

Volt Switch and Zap Cannon are the strongest straightforward Electric-type combination for raid battles.

Thunder can be used as an alternative Charged Attack, while Hyper Beam is generally less useful because Normal-type damage cannot exploit a raid boss weakness.

The ideal Regieleki Pokémon GO moveset can differ in PvP, where energy generation and shield pressure are more important than pure damage.

Is Regieleki Good in Pokémon GO Raids?

Regieleki can work as an Electric-type raid attacker, particularly against Water and Flying-type Pokémon.

The Regieleki Pokémon GO moveset can be useful against raid bosses such as:

  • Kyogre
  • Lugia
  • Tornadus
  • Yveltal
  • Mega Gyarados
  • Mega Pidgeot

However, Regieleki faces strong competition from other Electric-type attackers.

Zekrom, Xurkitree, Shadow Raikou, Shadow Magnezone and powerful Mega-Evolved Pokémon may deal more damage or survive for longer.

Regieleki has a respectable attack stat, but its lower durability means it can faint quickly against hard-hitting raid bosses.

This makes Regieleki usable rather than essential. Trainers with established Electric-type teams may not need to invest heavily in it.

Is Regieleki Good in PvP?

Regieleki is not currently one of the strongest choices in the GO Battle League.

Its limited Charged Attack selection makes its strategy fairly predictable. Electric-type damage can threaten Water and Flying Pokémon, but Ground-type opponents can shut Regieleki down completely.

Ground types resist Electric attacks and deal super-effective damage in return, leaving Regieleki with very few options.

The Regieleki Pokémon GO PvP role is therefore limited. It may work as a surprise pick, but it is not generally considered a priority Great League, Ultra League or Master League investment.

Trainers should avoid spending large amounts of Stardust on Regieleki unless they specifically want to experiment with it.

What Is Regieleki?

Regieleki is a Legendary Pokémon introduced during Generation VIII in The Crown Tundra expansion for Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Its body is formed from electrical energy, while the rings surrounding it are said to restrain its enormous power.

Regieleki is one of the Legendary Titans alongside:

  • Regirock
  • Regice
  • Registeel
  • Regigigas
  • Regidrago

This Pokémon is a cluster of electrical energy. It’s said that removing the rings on Regieleki’s body will unleash the Pokémon’s latent power.

Is Regieleki Pokémon GO Worth Raiding?

Regieleki Pokémon GO raids are worth completing when you need the Pokédex entry, want shiny Regieleki, are hunting for perfect IVs or need additional Regieleki Candy.

Regieleki can function as an Electric-type raid attacker, but it is not a compulsory investment for Trainers who already have strong Electric Pokémon.

Its lower durability and competition from stronger attackers reduce its overall priority.

Collectors will still want at least one Regieleki, especially when trying to complete the full Legendary Titan collection alongside Regidrago, Regigigas, Regirock, Regice and Registeel.
