Pokemon Go November Community day is here, and it’s all about Shinx, the flash Pokemon, featuring extra bonuses.

When is the Pokemon Go November Community day?

The November Community day for Pokemon Go will start on November 21st (2021), at 11:00 AM local time, and runs for 6 hours until 5:00 PM local time.

The time window for evolving Pokemon for the Exclusive move lasts 2 additional hours on top of that.

What can we expect from the November Community day for Pokemon Go?

As always with a Community Day, the spawns will be dominated by the Pokemon that’s featured for the event – virtually everything you see during the duration of the event will be a Shinx, as they’ll replace pretty much every single spawn.

Evolve a Luxio or otherwise capture a Luxray during the event (or up to 2 hours afterwards), will have the Exclusive move Psychic Fangs.

This is a new charged attack, that allows Luxray to lower the defence of the opposing Pokemon and inflicts super effective damage against Fighting or Poison-types.

It has 40 power in trainer battles, and 30 in Gym/Raid battles, though loses the defence reduction effect outside of PvP.

Bonus Features

As per usual, the community day comes with a slew of other minor bonuses. Including all of the following:

  • 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance
  • 3 hour duration Incense
  • 3 hour duration Lures

Additionally, as this is the last community day before the annual December Community Day event, we’ll get two additional bonuses this November.

  • Tripled Transfer candy
  • 4x chance of earning XL Candy when transferring Pokemon

November Community day extras

An exclusive special research story, – Flash, Spark and Gleam – will be available for $1 – and will likely be worth it for any Shinx enthusiasts.

There will also be 2 Community day boxes, one for free that will have 30 Ultra balls available for anyone, and the other costing 1,280 Pokecoins.

The 1280 Pokecoins box will contain:

  • 50 Ultra Balls
  • Four Incense
  • Four Star Pieces
  • One Elite Charged TM

On top of that, there will be the usual photobombs with Shinx throughout the event.

Is there anything else to know?

As always with a Community day, the Shiny rate of Shinx will be enhanced during the event, on top of the significantly increased spawn rate. This makes for an excellent chance to find Shiny Shinx.
