The final spotlight hour for April 2022 in Pokemon Go will feature Cherrim, the Blossom Pokemon, as well as doubled capture experience.

Cherrim Spotlight hour in Pokemon Go for April

Cherrim spotlight hour will be following on from the previous Oddish spotlight hour, as the last of the regular spotlight events for April in Pokemon Go. This spotlight event will start at 6:00 PM local time on April 26th, ending an hour later, at 7:00 PM local time.

If you’re not familiar with these events, Spotlight hours consist of a shortened version of the community day spawn replacing feature, meaning that all you’ll see will be the featured Pokemon for that hour. That means this one will feature a lot of Cherrim.

As for local time, it’s a solution to timezones; it should be 6:00 PM for you when the event starts, regardless of where you are in the world.

These events also usually feature an additional bonus on top of the featured Pokemon spawns. In this case, the bonus is doubled capture Experience. As far as the bonuses available go, this one is a bit on the weaker side, but it works for everyone rather than just those who want to capture Cherrim, so it could certainly be worse.

These events are also usually useful for shiny hunters due to a large number of specific Pokemon spawns. In the case of Cherrim however, no shiny form is currently available in Pokemon Go, so that isn’t an option that’s available to us.

That’s everything for this spotlight hour, but you can find more Pokemon Go content right here on The Click.
